  • 2:25 was funny her head popped out

  • THANK YU! THIS WAS A GREAT TUTORIAL! FINALLY!

  • what absolutely claptrap you've written about black men and why have you chosen to tar every blackman with the same brush. The black men you associate with may be like that so speak for yourself. However one chooses to have their hair it is up to them. Also remember there are some people who may suffer from alopoecia and may choose to sport a weave without the need to show off their bald patches. Extensions/weaves are just expression of one's creativity and choice.

  • @ella7903 i WAS SHAKING MY HEAD AT THAT COMMENT ABOUT BLACK MEN NOT WANTING US TO WEAR OUR NATURAL HAIR. GIRRLLL IS SHE A DAMN FOOL...I BEEN ROCKING NATURAL HAIR FOR 20+ YEARS NOW AND ALL THE MEN I BEEN WITH SPOILED ME AND LOVED ME FOR WEARING MY HAIR NATURAL!!! MY HUSBAND HOWEVER WASN'T TO KEEN TO ME STARTING TO EXPERIMENT WITH WEARING WEAVE, BUT I DO ME AND HE EVEN JOKES BUT IS STARTING TO LIKE HOW VERSATILE I AM WITH WEARING MY HAIR....SO TO EACH HER OWN! DO YOU......

  • Wen the braids are this way how do u put tge needle through.. it must be different

  • love the bob style

  • how many packs of hair do you usally use for a full head? Nice Video :)

  • @TrophiaRevea Most likely 2.

  • i like the strait back braids because its flater on your hair

  • can this method be put in a ponytail?

  • where the net? why didnt u use one to protect her hair? what type of hair/brand is that?

  • Girl, I really do appreciate the background music. It's much easier to watch the video and enjoy it. May the Lord continue to bless your business. :-) After watchin you I think I can do this now. Thanks a bunch! Wow that's nice.

  • Ps. I'm not insulting the video or the girl in it at all, my last comment was just about people who seem obsessed with having European hair. Nothing wrong with a weave as long as it's something you're choosing for your own reasons, instead of because you think you NEED it!

  • know bodieee neverr show how theyy connect dee needlee' - nnd stuff

  • A weave is such a huge turnoff...

  • @jimmyohdez Like 80% of women get weaves/extensions at least once in their life.

  • thanx found a new of braiding .also weaves just enhances our beauty ..we are not the only race who wears extra hair we are just more open with it and other races run off with our ideas . but they call it extensions:)

  • she looks so pretty just with the braids,i have not seen the end yet so i will hit u bk then.

  • How long will this hair like that? .. and what happens to my hair after I strip out this other hair?

  • I like this video. do you have a video for styling the weave? Thanks.

  • @GERWAZJANA

Excuse you miss ignorant know nuthiing! "normal hair" is natural hair or the hair you were born with. Her having a straight hair weave is not "normal", it's just styled! Yes it is beautiful but natural hair is beautiful too! And don't try to hate on our blackgurl hair just becuz we have more options with our hair than you do. K??thnx Hun;)

  • you do some good hair!!! I'm 15 and i know how to sew in hair but i can't cut it like that! Terrific job

  • You guys are so silly :). Nice sew in.

  • sing with me Heavenly Choir!!!!:)

  • This is very nice! nice braid pattern! I'm going to attempt to do another after 7 yrs.! She has strong edges, mine are thin, so I'm lookin' for somethin' safe, no pullin' on my edges, but this job is awesome!

  • @gerwazjana what are you talking about?

  • @SHUTDAFRONTDOR i mean all this hassle you have to go through just to have normal hair.. it must be difficult, time and money-consuming and uncomfortable..so i feel sorry for you..

  • @gerwazjana dont feel sorry for me honey feell sorry for yourself you dont even know how dumb what you just said was "normal hair" what does that mean anyway who cares your an ass hole for real

  • @gerwazjana whatever i feel sorry for you your an ass hole

  • How did you close this?

  • you r good, have you considered goin to cosmetology school for hair. I'm in my 4th quarter of school, i have to learn how to braid tighter cause I have 3 daughters.

  • u did a great job way better than some idiot charging 120 in NY at the hair salon. your braids are well done. Keep up the good work.

  • Are you putting the needle through the track and under the braid?!?

  • @beautiful3000 i was wondering the same thing

  • I want to see how it looks when its done in the front

  • gurl u good u betta work hunni..were u located hunni..i want some weave...

  • Have you ever tried french braiding each row? I heard this was a great technique to achieve a more natural look.

  • this is so helpful! so i just keep doin that all the way around right?

  • LEASE do a video on how you connect the braids at the back. They are so neat and flat. Thanks, think I may sub.

  • Good Job! xx3

  • Your techniques are on point! Do you do the invisible weave part as well? I would love to see your version!

  • could u make a whole video on sew-ins using str8 back cornrows....urs are so much more detailed

  • Does the thread cut your hair???

  • no the thread is kinda thick

  • I just found this video and yall were funny!! I wanted to know would you PLEASE PLEASE do a video on how you connect the braids at the back. They are so neat and flat. Thanks, think I may sub.

  • when she braids it all back...she might braid it all into one braid and she tucks it under...and sews it.....thats what my cousin does....

  • please do a a video on how u connect the braids in the back

  • very cute..i like the video before this one as well...i just cant braid! lol but good job

  • Well done, the hair looked fab, but can you tell me how you cut and styled her fringe at the end, cuz it really looked nice

  • ARG! I wish you could do my hair.

  • I love the way you guys connect with the Lord!

  • that is so cute

  • You do nice work, and I did see this question but you did not answer it. When you braided up the hair before weaving how did you connect the back. It is so neat and when I do this technique myself, it is a challenge to get that part nice and flat , please explain or make another video,

    Thanks

  • ur technique is unique but can u show a breakdown of how to sew in the center?

  • do u sew it under the braid

  • what inch was this

  • Okay that's how you have to say it LOL! I live in FLA and when I talk professional in salons they look at me crazy! But at the same time I want them to take me serious and not play around or waste time in my head. like let me get this uppity girl out of here in a hurry! LOL!

  • Wow you braiding skills are on point! I hate that you had to cover it up with a weave!

  • i learned how to sew in weave 4rm watching this video...thanx girl!! :)

  • i love that old time gospel and you do hair good.what is the cd you have playing it is so powerful.

  • how did u connect the parimeter braid to the cornrows

  • I know how to sew-in a weave but i want to knwo how did you cut the hair to get this style and what type of hair did you use

  • I'm glad that they have vids like this. I started sewing in my own weave and ias going to school for cosmetology.

  • So , you don't tie knots, I sometimes do , but what do you do to make the track stay? What technique do you use as far as how you sew it to mak it stay in?

  • lol u gave me a fright! at the beginin LOl nnice work bdw :)

  • Ouuuuuu weeeeee.. I havent been to MY church in a while but when I heard that song I was so happy bcuz our choir used to sing that song.....sooooooooo spiritual!! BTW Great Job on the hair

  • I wanted to know what type of hair you used in this video. I'm not quite sure of what kind to get but this brand looks looks like it is good quality. Thanks!

  • I know. I rock my natural hair and I love it!

    ~L.37~

  • actually alot of men espicially black like women who grow their naturally hair. alot of black men or any race lik natural women so ur wrong.

  • @okonkwoobiageli omg....

  • @okonkwoobiageli I dont feel like that necessarily true about ALL men wanting a woman of another race. I truly believe a woman's hair no pun intended is an small extension of ones personality. if your hair is the only thing that draws a person to u, that means that person is shallow. Beauty comes from within, i truly believe that so be exactly who u are sista..... BEAUTIFUL:)

  • @okonkwoobiageli I dont know what "men" you've been with but mine loves me nappy, relaxed, weaved or wigged up!

  • @Dark0Malkavian you know!! she obviously hasn't found a man that loves her JUST THE WAY SHE IS.

  • @okonkwoobiageli im natural too. but i sure rock weaves every other month :)

idt there's anything wrong with them. many ppl besides blacks wear them

  • @okonkwoobiageli Sorry but I disagree with you completely. Not all Black people have kinky, course or nappy hair. So, I'm not sure what kind of men you're around but I highly doubt any guys around here dissect your hair to see if you have tracks or rocking a wig.

  • @okonkwoobiageli People who don't like natural hair aren't bad - they make it easier for the rest of us who are attracted to the PERSON and not the hair.

WTF is wrong with afro hair anyways. Idiots.

  • @okonkwoobiageli thats a overly generalization. not every black man is unattracted to black women, use ur head.

  • @okonkwoobiageli it's not always about a man. I wear my hair the way I want. sounds like you do too. if you want to be natural be natural. if you want a perm get a perm. if you want to wear braids wear braids. if you want to get your hair press then get a pressed. It's ok to be you as long as it is legal.

  • @okonkwoobiageli umm y are u hair? to hate on weave? shut um n move to another video!

  • i love the background music, what is it? so i can get it.

  • l love the song in the video, keep up the good work.

  • a can you put on there how it turned out and thank you a lot cause i did my cusin hair and it was hot

  • i am trying to figure out how to sew bangs in with tracks so that i can tell my sister how to do it. the way you did it is how i figured it was supposed to be done but when you sewed on the middle piece in the other video, was it a specific middle piece you bought or just some of the track itself sewn together?

  • that was nice and pretty

  • What brand of hair did you use?

  • I believe the brown hair was Milky Way and the darker hair was just some off brand cheap weave I used because I ran out of hair.

    ~L.37~

  • love the videoo && the song...Canton Spirituals=♥ ← my qrandma, who's no lonqer here, fave. song

  • Glad you enjoyed it!

    ~L.37~

  • could u show another video of a sew in this time with the hair going back or a part in the middle or the side????? thanks

  • I always have mine close together but I guess a general rule of thumb could be the like the thikness of half of your thumb. I know that's a weird example. It also depends on the hair. Sometimes you can get away with putting more space with curly hair.

    Hope this helps!

    ~L.37~

  • I did my daughters hair and used two bags of hair but it looks like I spaced the weave too far apart, cause I see the braid when she pulls it back in a ponytail for track. Should I use 3 bags or am I doing something wrong? Pls help

  • Maybe you spaced the braids too far apart. 3 bags of hair is a lot for anyone especially a child. If anything you can split the tracks, but more than likely, the braids aren't close enough.

    ~L.37~

  • just wondering... i play a lot of sports... so would i be abel to pull a full headed weave back into a ponytail

  • how many packs of hair would you estimate is average for a full sew in....my hair is long and i want one, (Just to give mine a break).....i bought 2 packs of virgin remy(4 oz.), do you think that would be enough for my head?

  • That should be more than enough, I normally use a bag and a half.

    ~L.37~

  • thanks, im new to this

  • yea my hair is the same way and i have been getting weaves... not full head but parcial weave... and my hair is pretty thick.. so if yours is as thick as mine... well just for parcial i get about two packets.. so yea two or three packets should be ok...

  • i want to do partial because of the look, but im like 7 weeks post relaxed.....not that my hair is nappy or anything, but i wanted to sort of lay off perming my hair for a while and give it a break from heat. Thats y i want to do full head but part out, thanks i think i may need another pack cuz its thick as well as long

  • no problem.. my natural hair is a bit passed my shoulders, and if you want to give your hair a break from heat and perm i would definatly suggest a full headed weave with no hair showing. but if you just want the top of your hair out or something that should be fine, but for the best protection on your hair i would do the full with no natural hair.

  • when i sew i pull and knot to make sure it don.t come out .

  • WHERE IS THE COMPLETE VIDEO?

  • why?

  • oh man this helped me so much i been sewing for a while but diidn't think about it that way like the style to i think i am going to try this on myself.

  • You are god gril!! Tanks I have never did the jil house cornrows when I've done sew in weaves before. Also I love the song in the background. Heavenly Choir

  • I have a question does anyone know how to do a full head sew in with a part? without the track showing? I have seen it before but want to know how it is done. Please help if you know a video i can watch or know how to do it yourself.

  • yes i know how to do a sewin with apart but we probably live to far from on another

  • i have a question!

i don't know much about weaves..

but when you get a weave, if you don't want it anymore can you get it removed and have your normal hair again?

    thanks.. :)

  • yes girl lol

  • gosh I wish I could do my own hair. I'm trying to grow my hair out, my moms ignorant and she don't be gentle with my hair so I know that plays part to my hair not growing as fast as it could. I been natural for 6 years. But right when I got a sew in, in 2 months my hair grew so long it was crazy! I need to learn or get it done from some1 thats good but cheap cuz money funds is kinda low lol.

  • you should teach vocational courses on weave sewing you good

  • Damn your braiding is sick! Very neat and professional. Good job

  • Do you have a video that shows how you closed the top?

  • Yep. It's on the how to close a quick-weave video.

    ~L.37~

  • hi ok so i wanna kno how when you gets done wit it--how do u get it to come together @ the top.. on 0:26--how do you do that? pleaz write a sistah byk!!

  • Girl, I love this tutorial....U also got the music on point..!!! Keep it up

  • Don't mean to seem stupid, but where can i buy the materials like the needle and the thread from??

  • Any beauty supply store including Sally's should have these materials.

    ~L.37~

  • good jod

  • Thanks!

    ~L.37~

  • which lasts longer?? It being sewn in to the "circle" pattern braids or it being sewn to the "straight to the back" braids. It seems like it would last longer with the circle. But it seems like you can make it more full/thick with the straight to the back braids... thanks ladies

  • The same to me as long as you take care of it.

    ~L.37~

  • Wicked video. most helpful so far> Thanks guys. GREAT JOB!!!

  • omg it is so beautiful o and by the way love that song i like the canton spirituals also

  • ok so i am only 2 mins in but so far you didn't put a net on is that easier or harder?

  • It doesn't really matter. I just got in the habit of using one.

    ~L.37~

  • great vid! i am 12 am i would love to be a hair stylist wen i grow up, yesterday i did my first sew in and it came out great! and i even cut it perfict!

  • Good Job and congrats!

    ~L.37~

  • Does anybody know if you can have a fresh perm when doing this?

  • I must say You have the best sew-in instructional video on you-tube! But you should get some training on cutting and styling your weaves.

  • yall did yall thang

  • Good job ladies. In the future though, can you all do a few videos and number them, that way you can show us how you close it in and finish the sew in. It looks good, though. Better lighting may help as well.

    Thanks!!

  • lmao

  • love the music

  • what i do in the beginning for real security of the thread is put the needle through the braid and track like normal then once the needle is on the other side u put the needle trough the two strands of thread so when u pull it all the way trough its looped and stays in place instead of going back and forth in the same spot its a much easier method

  • Thanks soo much. Im just about to sew my hair in and appreciate this tutorial, it really helps, thanks :-)

  • & iWas just wondering when you use this technique are you just taking the thread through each braid but in a circluar motion[?]

& If you want your real hair to show would ou just leace out the braid in the front [?]

  • I just did my first sew in today but iBraided the braids to the side & lined the tracks along the braid & then sewed it came out okay for my first time :]

  • if dat ur sister, she is so lucky to have u, she be rocking all them cool styles, i love the step by step

  • Can you please, please do a closeup of the lock stitch method?

Can you do it a couple of times with lighting so I can see how to do it.

    Thanks so much.

  • THANx SO MUCH! NOW i KNOE HOW TO MAKE A WEAVE!

  • yawll are soooo crazy especially on your last video, when your had the gospel song playing with the speed braiding..and when homegurl was telling the joke of the day...this particular vid-jo really help tho'...especially when i heard haryvey singing the back ground(Canton Spirituals)(since iwas a child i loved them ...)in case u havent noticed imma pew baby! lol but im a stylist as well thanx for the help ladies keep em coming

  • what the name of the song playing in the back ground sounds GOOD

  • when you do the jailhouse braides do you just sew in the hair to the braids a few times and then go to the next one and same thing?? would the gaps make a difference in apperance?
