  • I am so excited about having Jamaicans in South Korea. I'm Jamaican and I'm very interested in Korean culture, so I am very excited for this year's world championships because it combines my two favorite thing. Really excited to hear our Jamaican accent in Korea. Jamaica to deh worl.

  • @kiaransali OH MY GOSH ME TOO. lol I'm so into Korean culture and i'm a Jamaican. I actually manages to make friends with a couple IYF ppl when they came to my University xD....funny thing is I've met Seung Yeon ssi.

  • @guitargeekette its nice to meet someone who's also Jamaican and into Korean culture. All my other friends think I'm so weird, especially since I've been studying Korean. I live in South Florida so there aren't many Koreans or Jamaicans into Korean culture so its kinda lonely.

  • @kiaransali I'm in Cayman and while there are a lot of Pinoy (Filipinos) up here I've only ever personally met one other person interested in Korean Culture.

  • @kiaransali

lol, for the longest time i think i was the only Jamaican that love Korean culture, and i know what u mean, usually when i try to introduce kpop to ppl i'm almost always the first person to show it to them, and trust me they like it, but it's not what they're use to, the first time i saw kpop on jamaican TV was at the "IAAF DAEGU CHAMPIONSHIP" i av ppl calling and telling me to go to what channel becuz my ppl was on, they should show kpop on Jamaican TV more often

  • @kiaransali I'm Jamaican and learning korean in SF! We should link up :] (im a girl)

  • @beepnessz Oh I'm a girl too, lol. you should message me and we can definitely link up. I have a friend into korean culture too, but she's haitian and its kinda not the same as having someone from your own culture, so hit me up.

  • @guitargeekette

  • @MsKikira Manchester ^_^ you?

  • @guitargeekette

i'm from Kingston, it's kind of hard to kind someone who is into kpop like me, and i kind of creep out the ppl i live with wen i talk about kpop r k/j dramas ^^ lol

  • @MsKikira lol I managed to find a few. I realised more and more ppl seem to be popping up. lol nit felt like me alone for a while, then I got couple of my friends into it, then I found another girl.

  • @MsKikira hey im in kingston, =.= i feel the same way, when you talk about kpop around them they have a look on their faces like ooookkkk o.o

  • @guitargeekette

It's been so long since I've last been to Manchester, i'm from Kingston, i'm happy for u that u find kpop lovers in person, i only talk to Jamaican kpop lovers on the internet, never in person
