How would I construct a double/tripple pendulum that "winds itself up"?
Theese are set to motion manually and only swings for a limited time.
Is it possible to add an electric motor and have it swing "forever"?

@pscmpf: You know it! The image processing app is ready to go, though the frame rate may not be high enough. I think position and velocity would offer very rich control signals for synthesis.
