I thought the woman that played Janet was an odd choice, but her voice is great. I loved her singing Me, Me, Me! I actually directed a production of that song in high school. I made giant wooden picture frames and had the background dancers holding them up in an egotistical fashion! It was SO MUCH FUN to do! I love Richard O'. He's one of the unsung greats of the musical theater community!

The first time I watched it I hated the new Janet, but as soon as you stop comparing the characters to RHPS its much more enjoyable. In fact, now I think this Janet is awesome, adorable and totally suited for the role. But Pat Quinn & Richard O'Brien are the highlight of this film!

I think this is fine as a sequel... Brad and Janet have spent years trying to move on, so it's just a week in their future life. They aren't so rosey eyed anymore... but their personalities are pretty much the same LOL this movie just lacks the kink from Rocky Horror, so it feels totally different :)

Richard O'Brian has always had this type of voice that's attracted me for all these years. Simply listening to him amazes me! Listen to that range! Add to the power and you've got some rocker... *le sigh* I wish he had more movies/musicals that were more popular with the audiences.... It's so hard to find more of his works :(

Other than the two main characters, and what can be considered non-canon (Like saying that Richard , Patricia, and Nell in this movie are actually Translvanians, and the city of Denton has been secretly taken over by Translvanians) it really has nothing to do with Rocky Horror.
