  • che meraviglia, la baklava è un dolce squisito

  • WoW ! looks so good.

  • baklava is DEFENETLY turkish for goodness seckk

  • @1mandemz ;p this recipe is Bosnian variation :p

  • @1mandemz The origins of the Baklava is modern Iraq. According to Muhamamd Hasan Bagdadi, an Abbasid writer of the 13th Century AD, mentions that the Baklava and its origins dates back to thousands of years, and it was invented by the natives of Iraq (Assyrians, Babylonians, Akkadians, and Chaldeans); The Baklava was a specialty during the Assyrian New Years which marks the begining of spring & the season of farming. Baklava in its modern forms was modified during the Ottoman era.

  • @1mandemz If the Baklava is Turkic in origins, why the Turks of Central Asia don't have it! Central Asia is a large area that covered mostly by steppes and hot deserts; its impossible for nut trees to grow there! Baklava is famous in areas where Assyrian Empire ruled and influenced. Even the Baklava is not known for most Arab countries! Among the Arab countries it is known in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq only. In Turkic World, it is known in Azerbaijan, Cyprus, and Turkey.

  • @1mandemz

so noone else is alowed to make it?!! wtf...

  • @1mandemz

lets just say baklava is persian (like the empire hundreds of years ago; not just iran) persia was the entire middle east, so everyone knows it and has tried it. im arab n my family makes it all the time. so its not just turkish.

  • @Bluelily178 what???? baklava is persian? yeah i think this is a big suprise for persians. don't make me laugh please!!!!!!!! i have never seen persians making this delicious sweets. Baklava is an ancient sweet from Assyria. Then different nations like Armenians Turks Greeks added different infusions like cardamon etc .

  • beautful!!!! i want to know how to make dough myself!!!

  • @hasmiko

    I allready posted ;)

  • Beautifully done! Rolling out your own filo pastry into a giant sheet and then cutting it to exactly fit the shape of your baking dish, wonderful. I might just have to try this myself one day instead of always going for the bought filo pastry.

  • @shaun180381 It’s very simple. Just need warm water, salt, one egg, oil and pastry flower, put all ingredients in a bowl and work the dough then roll it in a bowl, oil it and leave it to rest. Practice will make it perfect :D

  • Nije ni to lose :o)

  • Pošla mi voda na usta!!!
