Like I've said before cod is an arcade style shooter and battlefield is a shooter that follows closer to real war then most games (there are several exceptions). Also battlefield came out before call of duty and actually gave the developers the foundation for creating call of duty.... The more you know!

@smush127 well for one bf3 is a much better representation of war where as mw3 is more of a "I'm a god and I decide who lives and who dies" game. Bf3 also has vehicles that do not require some amount of kills but in order to use them you require a amount of skill to use (except transport vehicles). Basically mw3 will follow all other cods in the means of being a arcade shooter whereas bf3 is more of a battle simulator then "run and gun".
