  • Hey Nice Work! Im trying to learn how to do this myself but something im curious on, what do you use for leverage when your working on a dent like that? Do you use a leverage hook or something else?

    Thanks! :)

  • Been doing this job 17/18 years now. Top job. The customer sounds very pleased.

Do this for a dealer all they'd say is. Is its better than it was and you want how much!!!

  • Nice job.. I removed a similar dent using heat and a spoon.. yeah, a spoon by rubbing it on the inside.. came out really great.

  • Hei man...Nice job...I am also working in Slovenia, EU :)

  • Nice job. I'm a Dentman in England. It's good to see some quality work, there are some crappy so called dent guys out there. Always get a recommendation.

  • How much does a repair like this cost? My m3 has a small dent like this on the back of a rear wheel arch

  • Hello.

Who the manufacturer of a lamp?

  • Well done, great video. The only thing I would be tempted to do is have a tripod clamp stand for the heat gun to be constantly running.

  • good work

  • very cool that you put your craft on youtube both to advertise and prove your talent.. would be cool if more mechanical workers did this

  • AMAZING WORK.

  • great job myke!and thanks for sharing your videos...

  • AidyMoore cheers mate....

  • I had pdr done twice. I may have it done again this week. No question that in the video it was an excellent job considering it could be corrected without painting or filler etc. I know what the pdr tech is talking about a slight blemish in the paint. However when I had a dent in my drivers door near the bottom possibly from a ball, as it was a baseball size dent; after pdr some days later in the sunlight I could see a slight blemish in the paint. Pdr is still the way to go for decent price.

  • It's truly amazing what you guys can do. Great job!

  • 2.11 dent looked like a skull

  • Xf11 rocksharder... You want pdr training in the Uk...!!! There is only one master. Aidy Moore at Dentwizard..based near Birmingham.

  • I bow to this level of craftsmanship (that is what it really is). Its like watching a TIG welder who is a real artist. Although I do all my own wrenching and fabricating of small items, this is one area I'll leave to the pros (I'll never be doing it often enough on my own vehicles...luckily). Mike, what is that small pointy punch made of? Is it rubber coated or plastic coated steel?

  • I just started PDR 4 months ago, thumbs way up for a job well done.

  • dude you got down. How much do you charge for something like that? I'm laid off right now and it's not lookin good where can I get the tools from? I think i'll be able to work a dent out. I would appreciate the help.

  • nice work

  • Mike, hit it with the block baby, no shame in getting rid of the rash baby.

Excellent work bro, you're the best.

    Ray

  • Compared to what it was, you did an amazing job on it Mike. Keep up the great work!

  • I liked the video. It looks like you were working from a very sharp angle. I have success with that on roof ribs. Patience pays off.

  • Mike, great work mate. I'm currently looking to learn this art, but need someone in the uk to train me. Is there anyone over here that you would recommend...? Thanks...

  • So the work you see here .. put simple is your working the valley upwards and tapping the ridge line down little by little so the final push its level with the contour on the body nice video

  • Good job!!! I had a dent removed by using this method and it really works. Cant even tell a dent was ever there, and I am as picky as they get.

  • great... how much was that a job??? or what would it cost?

  • Nice repair Mike. From a 15 year tech i'll tell you that is a difficult repair. Well done.

  • @IndyDentGuy Thank you.

  • great job man

  • Say Mike, love your work . I'm in L.A and would love to learn this PDR technique from you...do you guys offer a course?

    Thanks

    J

  • Wish I could find a reputable service such as yours in the NYC area. I managed to get two door dings last night and I'm googling everywhere to find a reputable PDR service in the NYC area.

  • Thanks Alex. Good luck to you.

  • I'm sure you will get it. Just like anything else, take your time. Slower is faster.

  • thank you so much Myke

  • amaizing work! sr. your a pro. AAA

  • Excellent mate, nice to see a dent guy not slagging off other dent guys. I like the light you use.

How long have you been doing PDR?

  • That is some talent. Dent guys around here always say they body line dents cannot be removed ever.

  • Wow. Great vid. How much are those lights and wht is the pen looking unit you use to hammer. It loooks like it has a light on top?

  • that was wonderful, what a great job!

  • Nice Job very educational.

  • You have inspired me to repair my own dents :).

    Great work and educational video.

  • i notice u tap down after each push is this 2 loosen dent repair or r u tapping down micro highs.

  • Typically both but mainly to help assist the paint to be flexible as well. I had to be very careful not to get impatient and push too fast. The lines tell me how tight the dent is or not, when I should push and when I should knock down. The more one understands the line board, the better you'll understand pdr. But it's not important what reflection you use, it's how well you understand it.

  • wow that was cool

  • As always nice job Myke!

  • Hey thanks.

  • Great job can u tell me what tips was used during dent repair cheers gary

  • Good question. I left that out on purpose so I can add that to my dvds but since you asked, I will say.

I started out with a plastic soft tip and then used a sharp plastic tip to finish. Never causing crack marks or bumps in the finish. That will be on my downloads soon. Thanks for watching.

  • i dub thee the paint pimp!

    good work bro..
