  • I did these when I had lower back pain. I got them from physical therapy. It worked like a charm.

  • i am a doctorand i know these eight excesise will help patients with chronic back pain and degenerative changes in spine. Please don't do any exercise when acute pain. Consult your physician.

  • dude did u do physiotherapy? this is exactly the same exercises they gave me like 5 years ago when i did it, now i got lower back pain again from incorrect sitting posture in front of my laptop... So i gota rework out!

  • I usually do that excercise @ 1:32 and i´m wondering; if you put extra weights on your back (on your shoulders, holding it with your hands) would that improve the excersise, or would it damage your back?

  • it's a lot easier for these 5'7" dudes to get ripped. I'm 6' and my workouts are twice as difficult... but my height makes me a better example of a human being at the beach. good job either way. meh

    Google the elbow lever, aside from looking pretty cool, it's a great static position for strengthening the lower back.

    The only problem with it is balancing!

  • @deryer No, it does not burn fat, it builds strengthin your back.

    If you want to burn fat, cardio and nutritious food is the solution.

  • @fre901108 Yes it does, all work burns fat. In fact talking even burns fat, not a lot of fat mind you, but some none the less.

  • @partlycloudychanceof Your right, but if you want to burn fat with those exercises, you have to be very strict with your food. If your goal is losing weight then cardio is most effective, but even here you have to be somewhat careful with what you eat.

  • @fre901108 Very true, but muscle building exercises also help burn fat because increasing your lean muscle mass also increases your metabolic rate which means you burn more fat while at rest.

  • @deryer there's no such thing as spot reduction in weight loss. (ex: burning fat from a specific area in the body) diff. people accumulate fat in diff. areas of their body - i'm a butt guy.. that's where my fat goes FIRST and it's the last one lost. if you want to learn about burning fat, check out different ways to stimulate your basal metabolism - that's the way to go.
