Government Procurement is in dire need of reform. However, it always concerns me that people (whether it be President, or congressman from either party) attack procurement reform without understanding the system. (Which is complex.) Sir, you better get some facts straight. The current economic situation was primarily caused by the Clinton administration. Clinton authored legislation that allowed banks to start making all of the bad loans that are now going into foreclosure. Until American voters realize what a mess the Democrats have gotten us into, we will continue with ridiculously high taxes, and bloated government, doling out our tax money to people who should not be having any problem providing for themselves.

Well it is not affecting me or anyone I know- but I am sure alot of people have lost investments. I think day traders and people looking to make a quick buck are having a hissy fit but people looking to make long term investments in companies will do fine. As a fellow American, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say this: "Its about time!". President Obama's style strikes me as being pragmatic and logical way of running things in this country, not different from FDR or Harry Truman. And Truman is still fondly remembered by his famous line "The buck stops here", which he had it engrave on a sign and placed on the president's oval office.
