everything in nature is linked, for instance this doughboy eats 100 cheesburgers a week. Therefore he consumes aprrox. 50 whole cows a year .Had these cows remained alive, they could excrete enough dung to fertilize the entire state of Rhode Island. Now the farmers have to rely on man made fertilizers. In the process of producing these fertilizers many chemical by-products are released into the atmosphere. Al Gore has been involved with enviromental issues for more than 20 years. Gore didnt just make up the figures or the "hockey stick" temp chart. Top climate scientists collaborated with him. I watched this video and Gores- and this guy just sounds like he's hellbent on disproving gore however possible. General Motors or Bp Amoco are probably lining his pockets. It be interesting to find out EXACTLY WHO funds the Pacific Research Center.

Politics aside, our environment IS being abused. Society needs to change now to reduce pollution and resource consumption. Can you deny that we are endangering the place we call home? The ever-growing population cuts trees and builds industry. Trees absorb CO2. Factories emit it.

We need to recycle used products, conserve energy, use more efficient technologies, plant more plants, etc. These simple steps are not part of a social conspiracy. They are logical measures to sustain life on Earth.

Ok, I happen to agree that the stewardship humans are displaying in regards to the environment is not fantastic. But frankly, we ARE doing something. Many communities recycle, many people contribute to energy saving. Fact is, cheap energy is bad, but it's cheap.  not everyone is rich... what to do?

This is only the first 2 minutes of a 22 minute film. It is obviously really low on production and entertainment values.  Although we live in the TV age we really need to READ about the global warming debate. Even Al Gore's movie only had about 4 minutes of meat in it...the rest was fluff.
