Here's the thing, this game wasn't released on the psp. This video is infact someone that hacked their psp to allow it to play custom firmware, meaning he can load ISO's (Transferred into EBOOTs) of PS1 games onto it, emulating PS1 games on the PSP.
If you read the video description it explains it all. This is not infact a game for the psp, merely emulated on the psp. And that has been my point, and am I glad to finally explain it.

Simple answer is, they didn't. This IS Final fantasy VI. It was called III in the states as the states didnt get the ones inbetween to begin with and they didnt want naming incongruity. But in reality it's 6, and 3 has the wrong name.
Its because squaresoft made 3 exclusive games only for Japan, which were FF3, FF4, and FF5 . So because we never got those titles, squaresoft just had FF6 pick up were we left off which was FF3. So basically, both japan and the U.S. had FF1and FF2. Than Japn got ff3-ff5. Then both of us got ff6 but it was renamed ff3 for the U.S.
I dont know if you got all that. I probably just confused you more. But thats what happened. Hope it helped
Actually, they did make FF4 in the US, they named it FF2, they skipped FF5 for SNES. They made FF1 on NES skipped FF2 and FF3 on NES, then when SNES came out they made FF4 also known as FF2. That's what I always says but others don't bealive in me. What is really important are the story and how interesting the characters are when it's about RPG. Graphics are just a + in it all.
Exactly people just dont get that fact its about the characters and story line look at chrono trigger it has survived the test of time because people fell in love with it.
Why can't you appreciate something older for what it's worth? A decent game with a great storyline... Not based on it's graphics, which may be a bit dated.

I wonder if the ps version on the psp Still has the 6month Loading times...Fuck that was terrible, SNES for the WIN... Advanced Sucked because the Audio was terrible and...the slowdown problem...sigh. If they remake it i hope it's for psp or DS they finally make the perfect version of VI.

When the FFs where first released in the USA, they did only release FF 1, 4 (as 2) and 6 (as 3).
FF 2, 3 and 5 were released later as remakes.

That's what I always says but others don't bealive in me. What is really important are the story and how interesting the characters are when it's about RPG. Graphics are just a + in it all.

Why can't you appreciate something older for what it's worth? A decent game with a great storyline... Not based on it's graphics, which may be a bit dated.

i think theyre all great XD well actually, they all have great storylines, but i must say, my top 5 are FFVI, FFVII, FFIX, XII, FFVIII :D also, FFIII should be made for Playstation's :P that and FFXI are the only ones i dont have

Yes, I think it was labelled as III originally in the US though, cause some weren't released originally over there. Bit of discontinuity there.

If you have it, just google how to put your psx games onto your psp.
It's not hard, just put your Psx game into your PC's drive and rip the game to your pc, then use Zinga Burga's Popstation GUI to make an Eboot.
Google the things that I just told you ^^

I've had the same problem with FF VI.
Only thing that worked is to use the GBA version, but that was laggy as hell.
Don't know if it's been fixed with other Custom Firmware versions.
