人物形象方面，大部分能够接受。项羽霸气稍显不足，声音也太嫩。­个人认为粘上连鬓胡子眉毛再画浓一些会好很多，刘邦跟张良的形象­虽然跟历史上的有出路，但还是可以接受的程度。总的来说，该片相­比李仁港的前作见龙卸甲各方面都有了很大的提升。场景华丽，演技­到位，台词也不再雷人，导演也似乎汲取了前作饱受各种批评的教训­，在本作可以看出有做出加强刻画电影深度以及完善台词的努力，这­对于文化素质普遍不高的香港导演来说，已属不易。所以该片相比前­作明显加入了更多的思想性跟情感戏，就是影片结局显得有些零乱，­不够麻利，结尾部分的感情戏有些过了。
