Whenever Philip is mentioned in the press it's usually because of some perceived 'gaffe' he's made.Personally I think the man is to be respected & admired. He has known personal upheaval & tragedy. His own sisters weren't allowed to attend his marriage to Princess Elizabeth because they were married to Germans! And let's not forget his creation,The D of E Award scheme. That alone deserves high praise. He's still got the stamina of a man half his age.Go,Philip.
Another similarity though I expect to be pilloried for it: both Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Prince Philip of Greece were stunningly good-looking. Prince Philip, at the age of 90, still is...
A bit unfair to call Prince Albert a Nazi when he died over sixty years before the Nazi party was even formed. Besides, he was a fairly liberal man, preferring an enlightened, unified Germany that wasn't governed solely by the Prussian state. "May Prussia be merged into Germany, not Germany into Prussia".
I don't really know much about the other guy though. To be honest, I don't think you even care...

"For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment."

Prince Albert has my heart. He was definitely more sophisticated and elegant than Philip; plus he was a Renaissance man.
