Not a criticism, but something I happened to notice: Isn't referring to people as either "Christians" or "sinners" a little self-righteous(if not self-righteous, it is certainly dividing) in itself? Obviously it's not intentional, but it's something to consider.
There is a reason that discussing religion with non-Christians is often a difficult task. The fewer the barriers, the better.
Christians are sinners who depend on God to help them. I hope that is clear. Unfortunately, there are those who separate this and make themselves self righteous and that is what I am trying to remind Christians not to do as well. *bow*

I am humble to God for the things that I do not yet understand, because I have faith in him. He is our father and our friend. We should love him as such :)

Well said! I agree that far too many people miss the intended purpose of what Jesus taught.
Not a criticism, but something I happened to notice: Isn't referring to people as either "Christians" or "sinners" a little self-righteous(if not self-righteous, it is certainly dividing) in itself? Obviously it's not intentional, but it's something to consider.
There is a reason that discussing religion with non-Christians is often a difficult task. The fewer the barriers, the better.

Christians are sinners who depend on God to help them. I hope that is clear. Unfortunately, there are those who separate this and make themselves self righteous and that is what I am trying to remind Christians not to do as well. *bow*

My friend this lesson is one of your best. Many times I have seen people that go to church and believe they are the followers of Christ's word. I have seen the power plays condemning all who do not follow their beliefs. Unless you follow their way you will go to hell. Many have felt this and have been turned off religion. I consider myself a spiritualist meaning open-minded in the ways of Jesus. Your words I find are my words as well. The name HumbleSensei well suites you my brother. Peace.

Well, sensei, I don't want to turn you to my point of view, I learned a long time ago that you can't do that, but he's said a lot of things that make perfect sense to me, like God being a Unity rather than a Trinity, and that WE as humans are a Trinity because we must approach things with both Mind, Body, and Spirit to manifest something in our lives. Very interesting stuff if one is open-minded to it.

Going to church is important and gathering in fellowship is designed to encourage eachother and also help and receive help from others.
BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF YOUR FAITH IS YOUR OWN PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.
