I remember back in the late 70s when Taco Bell's tacos were 39 cents and tostadas were 34 cents I used to eat a dozen of their tacos in one sitting, but I WAS a growing teenager with the munchies. I used to be able to eat a Wendy's Triple and still want more, too. (And no, I am not fat, never been.) In the 2000s, when they advertized the 'original' Taco Bell tacos as being on sale at the 'original' 49 cent price, I always wondered what happened to the _original_ 39 cent price.
