I gave up Windows XP because it BSOD'd on me once a month. May sound often, but that stuff happens when you stuff your Windows with software. Now I use Ubuntu, and it never crashes.

Another problem I found with windows, is multitasking. I often need 10+ programs running at once, and Windows often crashed when I tried to do that.
