Uhh, I'm pretty sure a Nikon D2X DSLR is NOT what the police use as speed cameras, way to expensive, and not made for the job!

this may be true but u can definatly get beat if if u are paaing a semi down the highway lol and some spped cameras only work in one direction

I say surround the plate with LED's that are brighter than the traffic camera flash, that way the contrast will be too bright on film and the plate will be nothing but a dark shadow surrounded by bright lights. Would that work?

so if you traveled faster it would take you less time, pretty obvious. So changing lanes would increase your distance traveled, marginally, thus taking you a fraction of a second more time to travel the distance which is measured. So the theory of changing lanes was a bust from the start unless there was about another 4 lanes to change between which would possibly effect the results more.

Well as everyone probably knows what speed camera's measure is the time taken for a car to travel a distance in front of it. Basically V=D/T. This will determine the speed of the car is travelling at. So the basic theory behind the changing of lanes is to increase the amount of time it takes you to cover the set distance so if you were travelling exactly 30mph/13.4112m/s in a 30mph zone with a distance of 10m then it should take you 0.75s. you can set off a speed camera when driving towards it when t is on the OPPOSITE side of the road by swerving aggressively from lef to right!

changing lanes may not help, but there's some stuff that you can get to spray on your license plate. to the eye it looks invisible but all the camera sees is light on the plate

I did these, but i was driving in the another lane much longer before the speedcamera and I didnt get a ticket for it.. my speed was around 100mph(160km/t) and the speedlimit was 50mph (80km/t).. This was in Norway. Maybe we have bad speedtraps here, good for us :p

Yah top gear beat it. But it was an older camera. And mybusters was not using the statioanry camera.

Yeh but top gear used a real speed camera that is in use where as mythbusters used a standard camera. Also a speed camera in the UK i dunno bout other countrys you have to have 2 pictures one after the other.
