What they mean by minister is laying hands on people. Theyre saying unless your part of the team not to lay hands on people. My church is the same way.
Of course they don't want other people ministering; can't have the actual truth of the Gospel preached at one of his Satanic gatherings. People, this man is a PHONY. The only spirit that will follow what he does is is demonic. Stay away from this man, for your eternal safety.
I was at Cabarrus and watched some old bald guy push to platform, then jump up and down screaming to Todd "I want to be like you" then SADLY watched him 'minister' in crowd afterwards and pocket money from those he ministered to, even once while I was watching remove bill after the guy left ,in order to check the denomination. I feel bad for Todd, I hope he gets it together, but as for old bald guy maybe Ichabod?
Just to clear this up for people - I went to the Lakeland revival. The reason the general public was asked not to minister to one another was because there were other people there for quite a different reason than what the Lord was doing, witchdoctors and such. Someone even cut up an animal on the altar at the tent one night. That's the stuff that you don't hear about. So, that's why people were asked not to minister over each other.... Though, I can see why people think they shoulda' been.
So you think those activities are any more dangerous than what Bentley himself is practicing? The Lord isn't a part of his "ministry" there, and I would advise, because I care, that you stay away from this false prophet.
The reason he would state what he did in this vid is to prevent people from exposing his lies. Just like a fan posting vids blocked my comments because I spoke the truth.
Um... I've heard a lot of stuff about Todd Bentley. Slasher flicks with the guys. The dark angel. The affair. Unfortunately, I believe all of it is true. However, I don't think what Bentley did was on as much of a personal level unless you went up on the stage with him. I mean, he didn't really interact with the people like a regular Joe could have. Now, I'm definitely not saying I condone what Bentley did/does. That's some evil stuff. I'm just explaining why people were asked not to minister.
If that is the case, then the only reason he would ask them to desist would be to prevent such activities from becoming public knowledge. I wish I could believe otherwise, but I suspect he would condone such activities, at least privately. Too bad no one got a video of that; could shut this mess down. Why, out of curiosity, would you choose to attend such a spectacle?
Any way that I could refute your statement about them trying to prevent such activities would only be mere speculation, the same way the statement about them trying to prevent such activies is pretty much mere speculation. I'm just relaying what I was told was the reason that people were asked not to minister. There were freaks there besides just Bentley. Sometimes when a light it shining, evil comes trying to snuff it out.
As for why I went - well, first of all, I didn't know all of this about Bentley prior to going. Secondly, the Bible says that those who seek Him will find Him, so I was just seeking. A lot of things happened that people don't get to see on YouTube or GodTV.
if you are a christian you have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside you why does anyone feel the need to go to lakeland to listen to a false prophet? if you want "more of God" then spend more time with Him. i know that may sound boring to you because of no magical signs/ wonders but it is biblical.
Well, once again, I'm just giving you my opinion... But I also think part of the attraction to Lakeland, or any revival for that matter, is the signs and wonders. I dare say that the majority of "Christians" don't even go to church. People want to see the power behind what they believe rather than a bunch of dry bones in the valley. Once again, I'm not condoning Todd Bentley. The man was wrong. Just answering your question.
There's nothing wrong with seeking God; that's a good thing. But, we need to be wise about who we listen to, and able to discern those that would mislead and deceive. I have no doubt that God is able to do great things, even in the midst of such a spectacle, but that doesn't mean going is a wise decision. The ONLY reason I would go to one of those events would be to tell people the truth.
Just be careful is all; our enemy can appear as an angel of light, and he's a smooth talker.
This is the church's policy, not Todd Bentley's. (It's not the only church to have such a policy for large events.) It's just a precaution against having satan send in "counter-ministers." Most anyone could get a badge, so long as they affirmed that they were ministering for Jesus, not the other team.

noo i'm not saying to abandon the truth, but don't you think you could lay off the name calling? That alone might help people read your entire message and think about what you're saying without getting angry and letting their emotions decide for them...
Yes you are right about them condemning each other, however, they were not name calling. Yes, there was "brood of Vipers" but read closely what he was saying. He knew that regardless of what he said or did they would not listen! We will!
Correct me if I'm wrong, of course, but if I remember correctly, the worst I've done is to call one guy a loon. If you look at his website and his responses to things, you'll see I'm right!
Brother - I've done so many times... you can start with the "Great Commission" where we're told to teach the Gospel and make disciples. Galatians 1:6-9 is another good one. I shouldn't have to go any further. The gospel of Jesus Christ does NOT include angels - it certainly doesn't teach that angels are more important than Jesus!
Jesus defines the supernatural, so we don't need the teaching of angels to teach the supernatural. Finally, the fact that he say "the angel" rather than angels is key.
Yes I agree that angels are not above Jesus, but that does not mean you can deny their existence nor their occupation. God has always used angels to give messages to the people he chose. Just about every vision had by the prophets involved an angel speaking to them or delivering something to them.
What Todd is preaching (healing and such) is supported by scripture (though you may translate the verses differently). A gospel simply is a reference to a testimony of Christ.
jonescomplete - Listen carefully to what I'm saying - Bentley isn't teaching angels as a side note - he said that he is to teach angels INSTEAD OF JESUS. What kind of a theme is that for a "revival?"
Healings are supported by scripture, but they should be authentic and easy to verify.
Friend... is he really teaching angels instead? If he is saying that Angels are the way to God then by all means there must be something amiss. Rather, I believe that when he speaks of angels he is telling of what they have said. Angels carry messages, angels war against demonic powers, and they carry out other heavenly duties. He does not equate the angels with God does he? Todd never says to pray to angels, nor to worship them. who do they sing praises to? And who do they worship? not angels..
jonescomplete "is he really teaching angels instead?" YES! That's EXACTLY what he's teaching! He doesn't have to be blatant and say that angels are the way, but turning aside from the truth in a relatively subtle manner is still wrong.
hmm... well, I would be interested in what exactly he is teaching that carries that contamination (messing with God's laws and so forth) Do you happen to know of recourses from Todd himself or sermons that would discount his connection with God? Something said that does in fact turn aside the truth? please tell me if you do...
jonescomplete - we can start with the angel teaching, but there are tons out there. I've never seen him in person - wouldn't put myself under his influence. You can find a lot of them on YouTube because he's such a hot-button person right now.
I have not seen him in person either so I guess we are on the same level. I have seen a lot of the videos representing both sides, but a good number of them that discount him have a lack of factual evidence discounting his ministry; such as this one (no offense to James for Jesus) I can understand your concerns as I was a bit skeptical when I first heard. I however have met people who accredit him to changes in their lives, and have heard other teachers who tell of his validity.
Amusingly enough, I don't have any problem with the idea of restricting who ministers to people seeking help, as seen in this video. Were I a pastor, I would do the same - should have a good idea of what people will say.
If people are crediting Bentley for changing their lives, this should be indicative of a real problem, don't you think? Shouldn't it be Jesus that changes lives?
Obviously I can't possibly know if he's corrupt, or his ministry. I just tend to be skeptical about the whole televangelist thing, especially where I see false teaching.
jonescomplete - I tried responding but it didn't work... trying again, so sorry if it's redundant.
If Bentley had simply taught on angels, that would be one thing; rather, he taught that God told him NOT TO TEACH JESUS, but to teach "the angel" instead.
Todd's preaching is NOT Biblical. Healing, I have no problem with, though I have to wonder in light of his teaching, his moral fall, and the lack of verification, at all of them.
Moral fall - he's separated & had to step down from "ministry" because of an inappropriate relationship with a woman on his staff.
Lack of verification - we have no verification for any of his "healings." I've seen vid after vid after vid where the person was ostensibly healed, but walked away the same. Partial healings as well. ABC Nightline asked for 3 verifications - Bentley couldn't come up with them.
well, about the moral fall... are you saying that people can not lead a flock after repenting for a sin of the past? He has repented, there are other's testimonies to prove that (James Gull) I know i'm going to an extreme in saying that, but it does kind of sound like you're headed in this direction...
I saw the interview, and he had documented evidence of the profound healing, its just that the reporters didn't have it ( I saw an interview on Fox... think its on utube)
that's a tough question. Of course we can ALL be forgiven if we confess (1Jn1:9)- This isn't a past sin, yet. He and his wife are separated over it.
Tits 1:6 says "An elder must be blameless..." other references talk about the character of someone in Christian leadership. He has a long way to go to get to that point.
The interview on Fox showed him claiming, but not providing verification.
The moral thing I brought up isn't about the child molestation.
even if he and his wife are separated, the blood of Jesus washes over all sin at the time of true repentance. If he had been one of those roll-your-eyes-and-say-I'm-sorry types then yes, you are very right. however people have witnessed his full repentance. (again i refer to James Gull) Notice that the majority of people who are leaders or are empowered with God's word have come out of a traumatic past, whether someone else be the wrong doer, or they themselves.
I don't know if he's repented or not - that's not really the issue. We had a pastor out west who did (allegedly) the exact same thing. Had an inappropriate relationship supposedly not involving sex with a female staffer. He was to undergo counseling & not teach, but instead after just a short time, started his own church. The problem with this is he's no long of good reputation, as the Word demands. The same with Bentley.
very good point you bring up.. I think I'll do some research on that and get back to you. ty!
but I think that this video should probably be removed, as it isn't very valid evidence against him as I earlier pointed out... In fact it isn't evidence at all...
I agree - this vid isn't valid evidence of anything. As I said, were I in ministry, I would certainly be careful of who I let counsel under my leadership. As an individual, I'm real careful about who I let lay hands on me - I like to know what "spirit" is moving them first.
jesus Christ is your mythical Lucifer and it does mean shinning as does morning star in Rev22 which is also jesus christ! did you have girl scout training your spiritual IQ is only exceeded by atheistic IQ
Tell your judge about my lack of grammer Im sure he will be impressed! His name is Abaddon you will see him soon.
My background is none of business, this is the last thread i will respond to you and i will now block you, you may have been talking to Jesus in a Ravenwolf suit! by
Geez - what a bloody loon! The point about Lucifer is that there IS no Lucifer. This interpretation from the Latin Vulgate - NOT from the original Hebrew - is inaccurate.
Your web site is sheer lunacy as well. There's not a cogent fact to be found.
If your background is none of my business, why did you put that in your profile and tell everyone to look at your profile? This is just more evidence that you lie.
Block away - don't care at all - you're just a loon.
I'll keep you on the Todd Bentley wannabe list - I don't think you're smart enough to be like Todd, so I'm guessing that you're simply deceived. Since you're deceived, you don't know you're deceived, so I'll pray that the mists clear after you stop following your itching ears.
I won't stop contesting your lunacy, though.
Why is it you can't answer simple questions about your statements?
There is no "Lucifer." The word mistakenly translated as such from the Latin Vulgate is discussing light.
This has no relevance on the Bentley discussion. Bentley is a false prophet & a tool of the devil. You likewise are a tool of the devil, since you continue to propegate this nonsense.
Repent and read the word of God, rather than listening to these deceiving spirits.
ravenwolf, you're full of lies. You claim to be a commercial pilot/instructor, yet your language, spelling, and overall poor grammar reflect a singular lack of the needed education.
Further, your treatise on your web site, calling Jesus Christ "Lucifer" further shows your Biblical ignorance. The word translated Lucifer - ONLY in the KJV - was not a translation but an opinion from the Latin Vulgate. The same word translated Lucifer in Is 14:12 occurs 165 times in the OT & means "to shine"
ravenwolf says we're focusing on the messenger rather than the message. The problem is, Bentley's message is worse than his appearance. Anyone who would teach doctrine contrary to the doctrine given to us by Jesus Christ is anti-Christ (not THE anti-Christ).
I say this!if your beliefs in what you call GOD are more than Bentleys then i ask you to demonstrate your GODS power! Bentley attempts and in some cases proves his belief in the supernatural "living" Jesus where is your dead Jesus? yup! still in the grave of your flesh, all Bentley is trying to do is challenge you to open your grave up, look inside and produce what you believe in which is likely nothing! you believe in the letter of the word but not the spirit of the Word, just plain wannabees.
You People are Judging this man, that I have heard first hand Give God all the glory and praise and doing his will of healing the sick. it says in Matthew 11:5-6 "The Blind receives their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended by me."
When John the baptist was told these things, he knew it was true. There was evidence and everybody knew the contend of the gospel preached. In a small world like that everybody knew everybody and everybody knew about the miracles that were real, even the pharisees knew. If there was good fruit of the Spirit and real miracles in Lakeland, all Lakeland and Florida would know and speak and write about it. No deads were raised, no multitudes coming in from the world getting saved and no revival.
Great point O Stark - Jesus' miracles were all easily verified since there were much smaller communities and the people healed were well known. Lazarus had been dead so long his body was decaying, as all could tell from the smell.
Bentley especially, since he's demonstrably a false teacher, needs to verify these supposed miracles.
Yes, they claim that thousands were saved in the meetings? Did you see an altar call somewhere with a lot of people receiving Christ and crying out for mercy out of repentance as in real revivals? So much is claimed without proof. If there was proof of miracles, thousands from the world WOULD come to the meetings. So sad that so few can see and can discern. I have to face it now that for many people I am now a Charismatic pharisee ;-) We just continue to warn people as this danger is spreading.
Agreed - I'd be willing to bet that MOST of the attendees were the same folks night after night. No way to confirm that, of course, so it's just conjecture.
I'm supposed to be a pharisee as well - have even been called an atheist and a muslim.
friend, if youre not a pharisee, nor are you a muslim, but you are in fact Christian, why don't you base what you are saying on scripture? (the claims of Todd's relation to evil)
We are focused on the messanger (Todd Bentley) rather than the message: Jesus once said if you cant believe me at least believe the maessage!!
What is the message? as believers in the Blood of Christ we can heal the sick, cast out Demons and raise the dead, if we believed we could end the wars, disease drugs and create a paradise on Earth! if we really believed that individually or collectivly! this is what jesus believed and his command to do it was to the entire church then and today.
This guy is an Anti-Christ and the people following him are deceived but so are many Church goers, who are lawless Modern Day Pharisees whose time for repentance is running out.

Share this warning so Gods word & truth can show people where they need to repent & obey His commandments. Rev 14:12
This needs to be seen. They're trying to keep people from proving that Todd's not of God. There are tons of signs, if you test the waters like God commands you...
Alot of people have gifts from God,even unsaved people have gifts from God.God created everything, its a matter of whether or not that person chooses to use their gift for Gods Kingdom. If a person has a gift, its not enough, that person also must have character to use it appropriatly. Its integrity and accountability.Even the unsaved corporate world acknowledges that importances of accountability. We have leadership for our protection.I don't want just anyone coming up to me unless itsdone properly
These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity--for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.
they dont want other people to minister crazy stuff is all like say you were havin a meeting about carrots how would you like it if someone came in claiming potatos where so much better and and containd starches....ect while all you wanted to do is talk about how great carrots are
Amen Metaphor987! You're right on. I mean, the same things happen in churches. I have a story. One girl in our church prophesied over another girl. And because the pastor didn't silence her, she did major damage to the other girl. It's called WARFARE!!
Satan deliberately sends in Witches, Warlocks, Demons, etc, to bring down these meetings, and curse the people. He also sends out deception to the body of Christ. (religous spirits, etc) So you never know who is in these meetings. So they only have leadership who know what to do pray for the people.
THATS CALLED BEING WISE
God is 150 percent behind whats going on in Lakeland. You can tell by the their fruit. And they got GOOD FRUIT :)
If you know the Holy Spirit, ask HIM. Bob Jones, Todd Bentley...false prophets. I'm not quick to name names, but this thing is one huge deception, and people must be made aware. View my other video about Tood Bentley!
can you back up your claims with scripture? I only want to know because you must have some... If you really want to convince people of Todd's evil then you must expect them to be very skeptical of what you are saying.
Do not deliberately warp a video clip out of context. You do not know the of the video.
What he is saying is when they pray for people on the streets, not to lay hands on them. He is not saying, Do not preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they are just being mindfull of the people on the streets, and in the church.
The leadership have no idea who is the meetings, or out on the streets. (spiritual background, etc) So they use caution to protect themselves, and the people on the steets.
wat the person in the video is talking about is all about order.so if any 1 is working in witch craft its the 1's who dont want to follow the order of the spirit & of the house.let me use this example: if you walk into someone elses house your not just going to walk into the kitchen & get something to drink are u unless u really know some 1. the same concept goes for the house of god,if u walk into another persons church u dont just start prophecying & laying hands on people it just not order!!
So do you believe that if Mr. A had meetings for the followers of the Way in the first century at his house, and Mr. B was told by God to prophesy or minister; he should disobey the Lord because Mr. A might be offended?
They told us the same thing at Brownsville and those on the prayer team could only say certain things. Plus people were not allowed to pray for their friend sitting next to them if inside the church building.
Lakeland has the same demonic witchcraft going on as was at Pensacola and I praise the Lord Jesus Christ that He get me out before it was too late!
RED ALERT: DON'T GO TO LAKELAND - it has strange fire which is deceptive and dangerous!
Sounds like a cult. It wouldn't surprise me if it's exposed that the leadership that is involved with this so called revival, is into sexual immorality and the love of money.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED. Want to learn more about this false Christianity and how these heretics perform their hypnotisms through trance inducing music, crowd paranoia, false doctrines, etc. VIEW MY YOUTUBE VIDEO PLAYLISTS, they will show you how this whole false sensual system is run by various heretics over the centuries and why people who claim to know God still (even today) keep willingly giving their minds over to heretics to believe a lie. Return to the HOLY BIBLE'S DOCTRINES ALONE.
The most contagious anointing ever, but be careful not to catch it from just anybody??? Is this an anointing from God or from man or what? Thanks for the video. We need to test the spirits.
what happened to the picture ? the visual quality of this video sucks

I've tried to show folks in the Word of God what the truth is.

You can reach folks with love and certainly should. That doesn't mean you should abandon the truth to do so.

Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
Brother - I've done so many times... you can start with the "Great Commission" where we're told to teach the Gospel and make disciples. Galatians 1:6-9 is another good one. I shouldn't have to go any further. The gospel of Jesus Christ does NOT include angels - it certainly doesn't teach that angels are more important than Jesus!
Jesus defines the supernatural, so we don't need the teaching of angels to teach the supernatural. Finally, the fact that he say "the angel" rather than angels is key.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
Yes I agree that angels are not above Jesus, but that does not mean you can deny their existence nor their occupation. God has always used angels to give messages to the people he chose. Just about every vision had by the prophets involved an angel speaking to them or delivering something to them.
What Todd is preaching (healing and such) is supported by scripture (though you may translate the verses differently). A gospel simply is a reference to a testimony of Christ.
jonescomplete 3 years ago
jonescomplete - Listen carefully to what I'm saying - Bentley isn't teaching angels as a side note - he said that he is to teach angels INSTEAD OF JESUS. What kind of a theme is that for a "revival?"
Healings are supported by scripture, but they should be authentic and easy to verify.
Bentley's teachings are clearly NOT Biblical.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
Friend... is he really teaching angels instead? If he is saying that Angels are the way to God then by all means there must be something amiss. Rather, I believe that when he speaks of angels he is telling of what they have said. Angels carry messages, angels war against demonic powers, and they carry out other heavenly duties. He does not equate the angels with God does he? Todd never says to pray to angels, nor to worship them. who do they sing praises to? And who do they worship? not angels..
jonescomplete 3 years ago
jonescomplete "is he really teaching angels instead?" YES! That's EXACTLY what he's teaching! He doesn't have to be blatant and say that angels are the way, but turning aside from the truth in a relatively subtle manner is still wrong.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
hmm... well, I would be interested in what exactly he is teaching that carries that contamination (messing with God's laws and so forth) Do you happen to know of recourses from Todd himself or sermons that would discount his connection with God? Something said that does in fact turn aside the truth? please tell me if you do...
jonescomplete 3 years ago
jonescomplete - we can start with the angel teaching, but there are tons out there. I've never seen him in person - wouldn't put myself under his influence. You can find a lot of them on YouTube because he's such a hot-button person right now.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
I have not seen him in person either so I guess we are on the same level. I have seen a lot of the videos representing both sides, but a good number of them that discount him have a lack of factual evidence discounting his ministry; such as this one (no offense to James for Jesus) I can understand your concerns as I was a bit skeptical when I first heard. I however have met people who accredit him to changes in their lives, and have heard other teachers who tell of his validity.
jonescomplete 3 years ago
Amusingly enough, I don't have any problem with the idea of restricting who ministers to people seeking help, as seen in this video. Were I a pastor, I would do the same - should have a good idea of what people will say.
If people are crediting Bentley for changing their lives, this should be indicative of a real problem, don't you think? Shouldn't it be Jesus that changes lives?
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
I was about to clarify that but I reached my comment limit or somthing. They don't refer to Todd, but rather his ministry. Sorry bout that...
Personally, do you think that he is corrupt? or is his entire ministry? I'm just curious..
jonescomplete 3 years ago
Obviously I can't possibly know if he's corrupt, or his ministry. I just tend to be skeptical about the whole televangelist thing, especially where I see false teaching.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago

He is corrupt, and so is his "ministry". Discernment is something I was given in plenty, and this guy is a menace.
LadyGreenEyes964 2 years ago
jonescomplete - I tried responding but it didn't work... trying again, so sorry if it's redundant.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
But look... He is teaching angels, but preaching Jesus.
I'm not sure what you meant by moral fall, or the lack of verification...
jonescomplete 3 years ago
Moral fall - he's separated & had to step down from "ministry" because of an inappropriate relationship with a woman on his staff.
Lack of verification - we have no verification for any of his "healings." I've seen vid after vid after vid where the person was ostensibly healed, but walked away the same. Partial healings as well. ABC Nightline asked for 3 verifications - Bentley couldn't come up with them.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
well, about the moral fall... are you saying that people can not lead a flock after repenting for a sin of the past? He has repented, there are other's testimonies to prove that (James Gull) I know i'm going to an extreme in saying that, but it does kind of sound like you're headed in this direction...
I saw the interview, and he had documented evidence of the profound healing, its just that the reporters didn't have it ( I saw an interview on Fox... think its on utube)
jonescomplete 3 years ago
that's a tough question.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
even if he and his wife are separated, the blood of Jesus washes over all sin at the time of true repentance. If he had been one of those roll-your-eyes-and-say-I'm-sorry types then yes, you are very right. however people have witnessed his full repentance. (again i refer to James Gull) Notice that the majority of people who are leaders or are empowered with God's word have come out of a traumatic past, whether someone else be the wrong doer, or they themselves.
jonescomplete 3 years ago
I don't know if he's repented or not - that's not really the issue. We had a pastor out west who did (allegedly) the exact same thing. Had an inappropriate relationship supposedly not involving sex with a female staffer. He was to undergo counseling & not teach, but instead after just a short time, started his own church. The problem with this is he's no long of good reputation, as the Word demands. The same with Bentley.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
very good point you bring up.. I think I'll do some research on that and get back to you. ty!
but I think that this video should probably be removed, as it isn't very valid evidence against him as I earlier pointed out... In fact it isn't evidence at all...
jonescomplete 3 years ago
I agree - this vid isn't valid evidence of anything. As I said, were I in ministry, I would certainly be careful of who I let counsel under my leadership. As an individual, I'm real careful about who I let lay hands on me - I like to know what "spirit" is moving them first.
God Bless!

Tell your judge about my lack of grammer Im sure he will be impressed! His name is Abaddon you will see him soon.
My background is none of business, this is the last thread i will respond to you and i will now block you, you may have been talking to Jesus in a Ravenwolf suit! by
ravenwolf789 3 years ago
Geez - what a bloody loon! The point about Lucifer is that there IS no Lucifer. This interpretation from the Latin Vulgate - NOT from the original Hebrew - is inaccurate.
Your web site is sheer lunacy as well. There's not a cogent fact to be found.
If your background is none of my business, why did you put that in your profile and tell everyone to look at your profile? This is just more evidence that you lie.
Block away - don't care at all - you're just a loon.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
I'll keep you on the Todd Bentley wannabe list - I don't think you're smart enough to be like Todd, so I'm guessing that you're simply deceived. Since you're deceived, you don't know you're deceived, so I'll pray that the mists clear after you stop following your itching ears.
I won't stop contesting your lunacy, though.
Why is it you can't answer simple questions about your statements?
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
There is no "Lucifer." The word mistakenly translated as such from the Latin Vulgate is discussing light.
This has no relevance on the Bentley discussion. Bentley is a false prophet & a tool of the devil. You likewise are a tool of the devil, since you continue to propegate this nonsense.
Repent and read the word of God, rather than listening to these deceiving spirits.

ravenwolf789 3 years ago
ravenwolf, you're full of lies.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
ravenwolf says we're focusing on the messenger rather than the message.

OStark 3 years ago
Great point O Stark - Jesus' miracles were all easily verified since there were much smaller communities and the people healed were well known. Lazarus had been dead so long his body was decaying, as all could tell from the smell.
Bentley especially, since he's demonstrably a false teacher, needs to verify these supposed miracles.
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
Yes, they claim that thousands were saved in the meetings? Did you see an altar call somewhere with a lot of people receiving Christ and crying out for mercy out of repentance as in real revivals? So much is claimed without proof. If there was proof of miracles, thousands from the world WOULD come to the meetings. So sad that so few can see and can discern. I have to face it now that for many people I am now a Charismatic pharisee ;-) We just continue to warn people as this danger is spreading.
OStark 3 years ago
Agreed - I'd be willing to bet that MOST of the attendees were the same folks night after night. No way to confirm that, of course, so it's just conjecture.
I'm supposed to be a pharisee as well - have even been called an atheist and a muslim.
Keep telling the truth, brother!
Believing1Thomas 3 years ago
friend, if youre not a pharisee, nor are you a muslim, but you are in fact Christian, why don't you base what you are saying on scripture? (the claims of Todd's relation to evil)
jonescomplete 3 years ago
We are focused on the messanger (Todd Bentley) rather than the message: Jesus once said if you cant believe me at least believe the maessage!!
What is the message? as believers in the Blood of Christ we can heal the sick, cast out Demons and raise the dead, if we believed we could end the wars, disease drugs and create a paradise on Earth! if we really believed that individually or collectivly! this is what jesus believed and his command to do it was to the entire church then and today.
ravenwolf789 3 years ago
This guy is an Anti-Christ and the people following him are deceived but so are many Church goers, who are lawless Modern Day Pharisees whose time for repentance is running out.

2 Pet 2:17-19
These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity--for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.

This is OK, a bit restricting maybe, but a sensible precaution overall. Demons can be transferred through the laying on of hands.

Amen Metaphor987! You're right on. I mean, the same things happen in churches. I have a story. One girl in our church prophesied over another girl. And because the pastor didn't silence her, she did major damage to the other girl. It's called WARFARE!!
yeyo1228 3 years ago
Satan deliberately sends in Witches, Warlocks, Demons, etc, to bring down these meetings, and curse the people. He also sends out deception to the body of Christ. (religous spirits, etc) So you never know who is in these meetings. So they only have leadership who know what to do pray for the people.
THATS CALLED BEING WISE
God is 150 percent behind whats going on in Lakeland. You can tell by the their fruit. And they got GOOD FRUIT :)

can you back up your claims with scripture? I only want to know because you must have some... If you really want to convince people of Todd's evil then you must expect them to be very skeptical of what you are saying.
jonescomplete 3 years ago
Do not deliberately warp a video clip out of context. You do not know the of the video.
What he is saying is when they pray for people on the streets, not to lay hands on them. He is not saying, Do not preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they are just being mindfull of the people on the streets, and in the church.
The leadership have no idea who is the meetings, or out on the streets. (spiritual background, etc) So they use caution to protect themselves, and the people on the steets.
Metaphor987 3 years ago
wat the person in the video is talking about is all about order.so if any 1 is working in witch craft its the 1's who dont want to follow the order of the spirit & of the house.let me use this example: if you walk into someone elses house your not just going to walk into the kitchen & get something to drink are u unless u really know some 1. the same concept goes for the house of god,if u walk into another persons church u dont just start prophecying & laying hands on people it just not order!!

So do you believe that if Mr. A had meetings for the followers of the Way in the first century at his house, and Mr. B was told by God to prophesy or minister; he should disobey the Lord because Mr. A might be offended?
