  • Amazing album that has inspired me for over two decades. Townsend is a genius and an amazing writer.

  • Bought this album in the ninties, kiler riff.

  • @amemy1 Yes, still one of my favorite albums of all time, ever.

  • @intormentis Chinese eyes has some great tracks too. Dont know why the Who dont playTownshend solo stuff. Any ideas?

  • An album that continues to inspire to this very day.

  • Goodness THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS.

    wowowowowowwowowow

I am so happy to come across this.

    Bless Your Heart.

  • We never know how the next awakening will occur; We do not know how to defend the awakening until the awakening stands - until the disposition of the awakening is revealed to the living. For what do we prepare what-is!, just for a new generation to awaken to-face the values of that which what-is has become so far; not knowing, that which what-is will become.

  • where can i find it?

  • I usd to own this on VHS in the 80's and if it were available now on disk I would buy it again.

Someone mentioned that the whole thing is up on Youtube somewhere - drop a link here if you can tell me where. Haven't been able to find it.

  • producers in usa never gave him a chance

    incredible talent that man has

  • every now and again i have to listen to that sad angry guitar crash at 4:07

  • Three minutes and 45 seconds before we get through the intro to the... intro? And five minutes before the song gets started? Clear that this was made in the 80's; it develops much too slowly to hold one's interest in 2010.

Love the song, though, and interesting to see PT give it some licks I'd not heard before.

  • @StretchPhotography This was never a stand alone song video, it is the first nine minutes of the 45 minute long film, titled "White City," that was made in 1985. Pete acted in the film, co-wrote the screenplay and all the music (a few songs co-written by Dave Gilmour). In the USA it was released on VHS. (Not sure if it was ever shown in any theaters). You can see the entire film in 5 parts here on YouTube.

  • @Zelomeisterdude
