My wife and I saw the movie last night (8/8/2010). What a sweet, fun little movie!

Selena you were spot on with your portrayal of Beezus. Joey King was an EXCELLENT Ramona, and your chemistry with Ramona (and Henry) really made the movie go.

A shame they could not tie Ribsy in somehow.

I hope you make a lot of money off this movie, and it continues to do well at the box office. I'll buy the DVD when it comes out, too.

this movie does not do justice to what fits my vision of what could have been with this movie. even a juno clone or art movie by michel gondry would have been better. instead its something made in the tradition of most disney teen idol movies and ramona wont have a chance to make a more relatable, unique spark in cinema for another three decades at least. i loved the books too, and i know im disagreeing with some of your optimism for this movie; its just my personal opinion.

i love these books he strong yet simple message of love. and i can relate so well with how ramona & beezus feel. I know this movie will not be exactly as the book and that disappoints me slightly. but it's expected when a classic of a book gets made into a film.
