The Heat probably rejected it because Carters contract has 3 more years, and the Heat only want contracts that end before the 2010 season, like Oneals, that ends this year, but he has a 23 million player option and their is no way in hell he lets that go. I don't know if Carter would work with Toronto either, they need to get multiple talented players in their this year, through draft and free agency, so they have a shot at keeping Bosh.

This is a HORRIBLE trade. If my raps were to deal for someone, why don't they get a TRUE shooting guard. Anyone who watch the raps on tv know damn well how joey graham has been playing as of late and he deserves to be the starting 3 by far. This is just going to regress the team even more. Banks is a backup guard and Roko is more of a shooting guard. Barganani will have to rebound more but I think the Raps have a better chance with Marion than O'neal. Barganani has a enough body and speed to play with bigs and he can shoot, and get blocks on the other end. Between Marion and Graham, Moon's won't be missed. I do hope that Moon shines in Miami!

No "eafanboyssuc" Roko is a combo guard. If you seen the past game the Raptors lost to The Bucks? You would have noticed that he subbed in for Calderon due to the Raptors difficulties in both taking it to the basket and getting a simple "Lay-up". Give them an open lane and still they settle for jump shots. Most of the Raptors accept newly required Marion, Roko and Bosh "when he decides to play" don't have the cardiovascular ability to take it the whole way - they are a jump shooting team.

I think its a great trade because Marion fills the position that kills the Raptors offensively and defensively a game. Since Vince Carter the Raps have had no one that can score at SG/ SF or defend at a high level. And the way I see it, Marion is a much better upgrade for what lose in Moon. Marion is a better all around player and defender. Sorry Moon fans, but Jamario played with no urgency! Hes supposed to be playing for a contract and instead he was chilling, terrible!

If they do trade..marion although an incredible talent will have to realize he is the third maybe even fourth option behind bosh, bargs, and maybe even calderon. If he has an ego about this it may not work in a city like T.O. The entire reason he wanted out of Phoenix in the first place was because Nash and Stoudemire were the stars and he felt he could shine on his own somewhere else.

I didn't say he would get more touches in Miami, but he was unhappy a few years ago in phoenix because he felt he could be a star on another team. Anyone who thinks like that has an ego. (most pros do). I do not deny he is a great wing player, something t.o needs. But to be honest I can still see the raps making the playoffs with or without a trade for marion. Its up to bosh bargs and calderon. They are still not that far out.
