@SuperDalefan88 Using smaller rods doesn't make it harder at all you just need to make sure you get a good hook set just like any other rod. And yes it is a LOT MORE FUN!!!

@kungfugary I love eating walleyes but in the 13-18" range and only as many as i will eat at that time. the bigger ones deserve and need to go back to keep the populations alive and strong!

it was actually on a flat off of a river river channel that gets anywhere from 30-40 ft., the flat averages any where from 12-4 or 5 ft. and we were sitting on top of one of the humps in the flat.
