@sxr700triple9999 i keep what i'm going to eat that night or before they need to be frozen but anything over 20 goes back those are they best spawners and great fisheries depend on it.
@SuperDalefan88 Using smaller rods doesn't make it harder at all you just need to make sure you get a good hook set just like any other rod. And yes it is a LOT MORE FUN!!!
@kungfugary I love eating walleyes but in the 13-18" range and only as many as i will eat at that time. the bigger ones deserve and need to go back to keep the populations alive and strong!
@muskiemaniac82 Nice job on the video and on the catch release. Yes, the bigger ones deserve to go back plus they don't taste as good as the smaller ones.
Wow some amazing fishing!!! im so excited to get out ice fishing this year i bought some new gear and a new portable..just curious what lake is this on?
Awesome fishing boys!! Im about to go hit the ice for walleyes here sometime this month. Watching that video made me want to leave right now! those were some dandy walleyes! you ever do tip ups for Walleyes? or you get most of them with rods? anyways, great fishing guys!!
it was actually on a flat off of a river river channel that gets anywhere from 30-40 ft., the flat averages any where from 12-4 or 5 ft. and we were sitting on top of one of the humps in the flat.
oh really? cool ill try getting some of those. anyways im new to ice fishing so i was wondering... refering to one of your comments above me, how deep were you fishing? and how would you know if its a flat without
