at her concerts, she likes to throw in covers of her favorite songs to please her fans. & she does them amazingly well, so i don't see why you're complaining. she still performs her songs...& does them just as well. so put a sock in it! she has four grammys & countless other awards, so she can do whatever she wants.

Hey Kevdoggoe - Carrie is introducing the hits of the eighties bands to a new generation - hey as Sebastian himself said - Carrie did an incredible job -it's a hard song to sing - Carrie is a country singer anyway she covers one or two eighties rock songs per concert-- if you knew anything about country - alot of country bands do that in concert- so just chill and enjoy your songs and singers from long ago - and remember the only thing that will never change is change itself

i just watched her sing sweet child of mine. after weeping uncontrollably for 15 mins i now view ms. underwood as my nemesis. i have the oddest feeling she knows the songs i like and has covered them all. is this be true? of course not (he laughs nervously while checking any metallica song she might have done) i feel we are headed for a cataclysmic showdown where i lead the forces of good and she leads her army of evil. we need to stop this monster from doing another cover

Ok, certain people below me are dumb as hell. Bach said "shes perfect". another thing, this song is VERY VERY hard to sing, i admit Bachs live shows werent the best, HOWEVER singing this song over and over and over puts strain on a voice. Voices dont last forever, eventually her voice will be gone to. She nailed this performance!!

She loves GNR and other 80's rock band songs because her older sisters played them when she was a child. Carrie is a very talented young lady and is not afraid to step out of her Country Music box to perform other types of songs!! It's called "CREATIVITY" and she brings it "BIG TIME"!! Not many artists are capable of such versatility.

Daughtry with 4 million in sales and a bunch of nominations and awards. Carries first album sold 7 million and her latest is over 2 million.
