  • laser pistols arent far off..

  • Aim at your eye once

  • Ho-ly shit....

  • What's the music?

I like it, can anybody name me the track?

  • @HaakonBloodhawk Asylum of Glass- Buckethead

  • "My laser can cut electrical tape..."

"Well yea?...mine cuts it and leaves it burning"

Now if this was only a hand held...me wants!

  • it's like a blue concentrated line of fire!!

  • soo big laser and soo little effekt you can get a hand held laser with more power

  • @mypyro2 nope hand held is 5mW this is up to 5W 1000mW= 1W get it? :)

  • @doggysoftbg Lol this shit aint anything there is a laser 6000W

  • @bacceli yes and that laser i probably illegal and costs a fortune and is the size of a house

  • 1:30 for some reason i thought that was a stick of dynamite , i was like WTF :P

    Nice vid anyways

  • Now, bundle the Light of the laser in a loupe :D And then... :D

  • I have a scar on my hand from a 10w Argon laser. Was adjusting a PCOAM about 4 inches away from the aperture and it just skimmed me.

The reason an Argon or any kind of gas laser is so "inefficient" is because of it's low divergence. You could take a 40w diode pumped laser that would be visibly brighter and use less power, but you'd end up with a beam of light about a meter in diameter after a km or so. I've used Argons with such low divergence they have a beam diameter of 2cm after 1km.

  • what a peaceful begining.

  • is this a solder on 1:25? do you mean that it is possible to solder by laser? :)

  • @greenoakst Since the laser beam emits very high heat, it melts little metal things like that. Hence, you can solder by laser.

  • Dear Santa

  • not just burn....MELT AND SET ON FIRE!!!! MUHAHAHAHAAHAH!!!

  • What is the music on that?

  • @KOSMANIA11 Buckethead - Asylum of glass

  • so EPIC i almost cried. XD

  • Nice laser, but I wouldn't say killer

  • Holy. Shit. Daaaaammmnnnnnnn

  • Omg, it's beautiful.

  • why should we not buy from wicked lasers, techlasers, warnlaser, or spymodex?

  • my lightbulb puts out more energy than that....gf

  • @weweallthewayhome The problem about saying "my lightbulb puts out more energy..." and similar things that people say is: 'your lightbulb' is extremely inefficient. A 100W lightbulb (NOT compact fluorescent lights or linear fluorescent lights) will put out about 2 - 4W of visible light, about 20W of absolutely unusable IR light, and a lot of heat. But an Argon Ion will take * kW to make 4W of light, so light bulbs are more efficient.

Do not take this as an insult, this is just an explanation!

  • This would destroy centipedes

  • i wanna know what ur wall looks like

  • I too have a new toy, Mr. Bond.

  • Bit too expensive to burn tapes and candles ..

  • Am I the only one who thinks it would be bad ass to light a bowl with this?

  • die clippy DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Holy crap!!!! I found the song

    it's:

    Asylum of Glass - Buckethead

  • @mrlaserguy2 I knew it was Buckethead! Just couldn't figure out what song. Thanks!

  • @therealtony no problem!

  • how much monies

  • Throw a crystal like object in front of it with a room full of people. Laser roulette!

  • Are you sure that cutting limbs and heads is legal? I's sure it isn't :/

  • What band is that? It's amazing!

  • how is that not burning a hole in your wall!!!

  • Hold your finger in.

  • As fascinating as it may be, I wouldn't ever dare to turn that beast on!

  • Takes for ever to go thru smthing

  • Why isn't there like a huge hole in the back of his wall?

  • It melted the paperclip.....

  • @Roamingdead19 it was actually solder but that still takes a good amount of heat to melt

  • I wonder what the fuck his wall is made of! 5" steel?

  • this will be good if a robber trys to breaking my house.

  • impresionant

  • Comment removed

  • ich will auch eins --damit herumspielen uns spaß haben

  • that is some sick shit

  • Awesome laser.

But im more interested on that song.

Whats the song name, and author?

  • How many Houses/Cars you Sell to get this?

  • I wonder how many random holes there are in the wall...

  • @ThePokemon237 Wall is White. Can't burn White.

  • "Don't look directly in the operational end of the device"

  • You have much to learn young Skywalker.

  • can you blow up a car tire?

  • well in star wars do they have to hold all that ?

  • these lasers look illegal...damn get a nerd gangster/serial killer from a ghetto, give him this. hell make jason, micheal myers, freddie crugar ect look like panzies lol

  • Color?

  • @EYTYXHS1995 470nm to 499

  • @mcwario13 DAM!! I want this!!!On video looks like 488nm

  • @EYTYXHS1995 no 470 to 475 because it more blue then green

  • too bn

    ad

  • how many mW would you estimate sunlight focused through a (household) magnifying lens is?

  • why isnt your house burning down (whats at the end of the beam, where it hits the wall)

  • dont cross the beam

  • Whilst putting something together with 'tape: can you pass the laser please?

  • What song was that?

  • Who need a lighter? Lets get a fucking laser!

  • You are my new hero for using Buckethead on this video.

  • что это за песня?

  • Who know which laser can cut Iron?

  • @tomspeed2005 iron, well i worked with a laser that was 1000W and that was able to cut stone and metal so yeah, 1000W

  • @Themandudebro227 Thank you

I love to have it, something same like 007 watch :)))

  • Would make for an interesting Limbo competition!

  • My laser came just now!!!!!!!!

  • now, compact that and fit it into a thing shaped like a plasma rifle from dead space 2 EPIC!

  • cut up a chicken leg LOL!

  • what the fuck

  • What's the song that's for the majority of the video? It sounds really badass.

The laser is badass too! Congratulations on building that thing!

  • Just to put things into perspective guys, this is a 4 watt laser, D.A.R.P.A (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) have developed a 150,000 watt liqiud laser gun that can shoot missiles down and have recently made one small enough to fit on a combat plane. guess star wars isnt to far into the future after all.

  • i thought the candle was a dynamite .

  • light a stick of dynamite

  • how powerful are laser engravers for metals (rings) and i think they also have some that do it for diamonds.

  • safest way to light fireworks from a distance.........long as theres nothing reflective behind it :P

  • i dare you to pass your dick through that laser super fast

  • 1:32 he almost dismembered his hand!

  • I like this color what is the nm ?

  • what is the nanometage 200 300 it is very cool as in cool blue

  • its idiotic to have the same warning sticker with the one on the toy lasers

  • 4w = 4000mw right ?

  • @Cortake Yes

  • @Cortake yeah

  • @Cortake yah its strong ....

  • Open your christmas presents in style with this gift from ASDA! Now only £2.95!

  • Is this available in a portable handheld version?

  • i find this video strangely easy to masterbate to

  • This is so boring, you're cutting tape and lighting matches. You should cut limbs and heads !

  • @gellsfrost would need several hundred times more power ;-)

  • lol ure wall :P

  • Buckethead :D

  • pop a scope on this and take out some tires >:P

  • maaan... i want one of these lasers!!!!

  • look directly into the beam

  • THATS A PERFECTLY GOOD PIECE OF DUCT TAPE!

  • what do you use it for? just to burn toothpicks and tape?

  • How the hell does argon from an ion?

  • More important question: What is the object the laser points at when nothing is blocking it ?

  • thats Power from the Beasts!

  • He is powerful.....

  • 21 Ants died in the making of this video RIP those ants

  • dont point that thing in anyones eyes, their entire head might explode

  • Wheres the army when you need 'em?

  • ELECTRIC TAPE SMOKE, DON'T BREATH THIS!

  • If u could make that into a pocket laser id win every staring contest

  • Dear Santa....

  • awesome music.

  • but will it blend?

  • @frumpy4 what do people mean blend

  • @TricksR4Teens dont tell me you havent seen that show...

  • hey baby let me open that box for you!!!

  • Just hold your hand as long as you can in there

  • screw light sabres i want one of these =(

  • thats right baby, i dont cut tape with a knife (pick up line)

  • i wonder what happens if you shine it thru a magnifying glass...

  • @piratelord99 Nothing.

  • @Deathzilla7 - They do :)

  • what is the song called starting at around 0:15 ?

  • @AngelOfHaze thats exactly what i wanted to know.

  • They should use this aerial defense systems.

  • Thank goodness that candle it lit. Now you have some light for the room. Oh, wait...

  • chase a black guy with it .....

  • would laser glasses save your eyeballs?

  • 100% AGREE with you man, do not buy from wicked lasers they never send you your shit, impossible to get in contact with them, took me 3 months to get my money back, my order was supposedly on backorder....

  • It said: WARNING!

    And you did not listened...

  • and this is why i said necromorph would stand no cnahce in dead space the lasers on the guns would kill them

  • gimme a haircut :D

  • want haz!

  • Damn! Only 4 Watts?

  • Chuck Norris wants his nerf gun back.

  • this is not 4watts. more like 200mw. argon laser power is a factor of tubesize and power and a 4watt capable tube is much larger. be safe though at any power.

  • @professorquack how is it not 4000mw if it was capable to melt metal although it depends on the type of metal.

  • @professorquack i highly doubt 200mw can easily melt solder.

  • 1:35 dynamite lol( I know it's a candle looks like dynamite

  • newest home defence system

  • @0N35595 also illegal without all possible warnings up on every entrance to your house

  • @mikeymul987 depends on the state

  • Well the 514.5 nm line has much lower gain than the 488 nm line, however, it has about 25% more power output when the gain is sufficient to overcome internal losses (due to the 514.5 nm transision coming from a different family of levels than the other lines.) I got this info from sams laser FAQ. Coincidentally this is one of the questions from my lab this week.

  • @1991ProbeLX

Main issue are beam-shape, colimnation, divergence and spot size. The larger the diameter of the "spot", the slower the divergence, frustratingly of course the inverse applies. A super tight spot will diverge quite quickly - still a very tight beam on the grand scale of things - but by the time it has travelled a few hundred metres, much larger than it started out. Beam shaping is also an issue as most power arrays are side emitters. Not impossible, but NOT a simple issue to sort

  • that could be used to burn a wasps nest.

  • how many nm is that laser?

  • wow nice, do you wear some protection glasses??

  • have you hit the moon yet?

  • That is an ALC 60, they are good for about 1 watt max if you want the tube to last more than 100 hours, it should run at 300 mW

The big brother is the baby, the ALC 68, Can out up to 10 watts burst and 3 continously

Still, nice laser guys, recommend you do what did, scour the hospitals for photo-coagulator machines

    ARGON 4EVA !!!!!!!

  • Jaykim20 u r so stupid

  • fake if it was true his house would be on fire

  • @fancypancytalker

Nothing fake, i have a similar laser - takes about 7-9KW input (230v with a bolt for a fuse), it emits upto about 3W output for short periods (then overheats as air cooled). Lovely bis of kit and although they throw out a tremendous amount of heat from the power supplies and tube (like 4 fan heaters), the beam is not going to start incinerating everything it touches instantly. It WILL however happily set fire to soft furnishings and blacked / char wood.

  • looks dangerous

  • also i would really like to know what song you used for the intro

  • @jaykim20 (the more you know) Lasers are not actually light particles with higher densities, photons for all we know are completely uniform. Based off my knowledge, a laser amplifies light (L.ight A.mplification by S.timulated E.mmission of R.adiation) and emits it in a way that all of the light waves are uniform, rather than normal light which is completely random, but still being light, it reflects off of surfaces while transferring heat energy to this paper which is why it stops at & burns it

  • ..Here comes the destruction of the world...NICE KNOWING YA

  • Silent flame thrower.

  • Nice laser, I have a VERY slightly weaker version which is happy to pump about 3.5W out for around 8KW in. She is called Fluffy and runs from a 13A plug with the fuse replaced by a bit of 30A fusewire soldered in.

Only problem is it is aircooled, so is not happy to do more than about 750mW long term - short periods of 3.5W are fine though.

Do you notice that when driving it hard, the colour shifts and you end up with more of a turquoise than a cyan ?

  • @guymark Thats prbably due to thermal population, no?

  • @misztal2112

You may well be right, my knowledge of lasers is fairly basic and while I can understand them enough to re-build power supplies and even assemble dpss kit, the inner "goings on" with an argon ion laser are a bit beyond my knowledge. the intensity doesn't APPEAR to weaken - it just APPEARS to shift from about 488nm to 500+

I emphasis "appear" as I suspect the output is decreasing, but as the eye is so sensitive to green, the actual loss is fairly well hidden.

  • Lighter for nerds?

  • this is bullshit

this aint a laser it's like

    a sodder .

it melts things and light tihngs on fire

btw a laser goes through everything.

it's a light particle that has more density causing it to go through sometihng

  • @jaykim20 what did you say about a laser going trough everything ? you got hit by a truck ?

  • Comment removed

  • @jaykim20 YOU ARE RETARDED
