The Government is assuming a role in which they can regulate all of our actions which inhibits our individual pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness.

If someone wants to enjoy a snack it's none of my business, and it's definitely not the Governments role to punish them for it.

It's my life and my choice. I choose to eat healthy and I neither drink nor smoke, but those that have their own habits are free to make that choice. The Govt. has no legitimate authority to determine for anyone what they can put in their own body.

That appears to be the major disconnect between us - you think they have that authority and that taxation is suitable "punishment" for individual choice, and I see Govt. actions as an excuse to steal.
