2 years ago I saw the 3rd birthday trailer for the first time and realized from a long lost memory that I've seen this chick with a pistol before. After finding out the game used to be called Parasite Eve, I got really interested in the series. I anticipated the 3rd birthday for months. Finally got it and loved it! But since the Aya Brea in the 3rd Birthday turned out to be Eve Brea, I just had to go back and see the REAL Aya in action so I bought parasite eve 1 on psn, plan to get 2 as well :)
Mwahaha, I remember this boss. Had a machinegun with rate of fire X10 and 3 actions. Each bullet was hitting for 300 so really, that made quick job of her. :P

@TheRegenEngel haha thanks but i was just messing around. yes i did get killed but it was cause i had just barely started ex mode and i didnt know how the tower was gonna be like so i practically went in naked and got beat down bad. plus it didnt help having friends over that just LOVE to distract me when i play. i've been too busy playin part 2 and some other games but i will go back to it soon. im actually not too bad at it so im sure i'll get through it

So wait...This is the true boss? Maya? There's no ultimate being in this ending? Also, is this only available on the EX-Game mode? I re-downloaded Parasite Eve 1, just to play that mode. I accidentally deleted it.
thats a crap ending. the original is much better. they should have made an epic ending to make this worhwhile. And just ending like this, the original boss is still on the loose. They should have let you carry on as normal after completing the tower and after fighting the original boss changed the ending so instead of keeping her powers and going to the opera and their eyes glowing etc changed it so she loses her powers
If they put this on the PSN network, does that mean they "revamped the game" similarly to a PS3 update? Maybe they just improved some stuff enough so that it has better graphics?
@HugFan No. All they did was port it over from ps1 to ps3 format and uploaded it to psn store. No ps1 titles get an actual revamp other than running a little smoother because it's on a better machine.
To help out with people trying to fight Maya eve, she has approximately 42,000 hp I actually wrote down each attack then added afterwards, and rounded it off to that number
Funny that people say this battle is difficult. Actually, it's not. Revives and Med 4s are available in abundance in the Chrysler Building, there's no way you can possibly lose this battle if you have any clue what you're doing.
Maya looked like pyramid head cuz of the triangle window. Anywho I was shocked to know that she was lvl 99 after I beat her at level 32. It came to a point that my defence was too high but my shots where low damage. It was a loooong grueling fight but at least my friend and I saw through her attack pattern.
I kinda wish that the game reward you with tons of BP but noooo. All you get is an alternate ending and credits with cgi pictures. How disappointing. :(
aya lost her powers at the end of the fight with eve and then gets them back in the second one some how? idk... love parasite eve <3 the first and second!!! the ending here kinda dont add up to the second one.. but oh well ^_^
if you lvl to lvl 99 and use a rapid fire gun you can kill eve in this form in about 2 minutes. I speak from experience but i can't find my copy of the game yet. its somewhere in my house though.
@moogleinsomnia did it one time though... 1st round of EX mode and tuned up a machine gun from wayne (ultimate weapon) and gave it 2 shots and three commands and all the other best options.... was firing 6 rounds in one second each dealing 600 damage... finished the fight in like one minute... ill try to post it if i can find out how to record epsxe with fraps... haha still don't know how to
@RzmmDX Just FF 7 and Parasite Eve 2. 1 sucked and the other pre-7 FFS were not really good or mediocre (Broken, grind-centric, abusable game mechanic [2], or just awfully, AWFULLY difficult to the point of being unfair without grinding).

I vastly, VASTLY prefer 2 because of slightly more customization options, ammo types, slightly branching story with multiple endings, serious incentive to replay , No 9 (That laaaaaugh. I can imitate it >.>) It just feels, flows and plays insanely well too.
Thankfully I'm not the shallow kind of fuck who likes the game because of the 1 shower scene.Lol.

I just beat Maya not to long ago haha p.e has been my all time favorite game when I was a kid and it still is my fave but damm is Maya/eve hard... I actually verified that she has a total of 40,000 hp points for those of you who are wondering =D
@fawfulmark2 yup, i had atleast 13 revives, was lvl 50 i think, but yeah i had a calculator with me, and every time i gave damage i just added it and kind of rounded it off to 40,000 hp points, took me a while but hell i was able to figure but her powers i didn't mark down lol
I didn't find this boss particularly hard... But I also overprepared lots xD A weapon with at least 700 attack, an armor with at least 400 defense...... Yeah....
Auto heal dude, those blue stars or whatever some armors have in their abilitiy lists You can take them to another armor using a tool, super tool, tool/super toll kit.
These secret bosses are nearly everywhere. I never had a play station, but I was a fan of the Tales series. In Symphonia, there's this kind of secret boss too...he's awesome.
wow, that's a difficult battle! I can't believe it's been about 6 years since I last played a PE game and I never got the chance to see this ending. now I can't wait for the next PE game on the PSP! hope it'll be as good as this classic game.

I actually did the Chrysler Building gauntlet the first time around, not realizing how strong I'd be coming out. Unfortunately made the rest of the game a cake-walk. But still excellent.
Thanks for posting! I'm trying to beat the first "last" boss now. Parasite Eve is pretty good, but I don't have the patience to slog through the entire game a second time + the Chrysler Building.

@ActionHorror You can't dodge her, and when she floats around Eve you can't shoot her because she will heal her.

I always wanted to fight this boss I couldn't because
A. Lack of patience when finding all of the keys
B. Kept dying even with a gameshark
C. I just plain sucked playing this as a 8 year old =P

I just beat Maya not to long ago haha p.e has been my all time favorite game when I was a kid and it still is my fave but damm is Maya/eve hard... I actually verified that she has a total of 40,000 hp points for those of you who are wondering =D

@fawfulmark2 yup, i had atleast 13 revives, was lvl 50 i think, but yeah i had a calculator with me, and every time i gave damage i just added it and kind of rounded it off to 40,000 hp points, took me a while but hell i was able to figure but her powers i didn't mark down lol

Auto heal dude, those blue stars or whatever some armors have in their abilitiy lists You can take them to another armor using a tool, super tool, tool/super toll kit.

wow, that's a difficult battle! I can't believe it's been about 6 years since I last played a PE game and I never got the chance to see this ending. now I can't wait for the next PE game on the PSP! hope it'll be as good as this classic game.

Umm... not to be rude or anything, but did you really spend 90 hours on this game? from the look of your stats when you were using liberate, it seems highly unlikely... 33's in everything? Did you even get max level, or tool all the stats over to your gun? Because that is kinda ridiculous. >.>

Hell, the guy even told me he didnt play it 90 hours. >.> I have beaten this game so many times, my gun/armor stats are at 999. Its retarted how much ive played this game. And it took you 24 hours to beat the chrysler building? It doesnt take me more than 1 and a half. Maybe 3-4 to beat the whole game.... *shrug* Just saying.

this fight is easy if you do it right all i did was liberate if you use your gun she heals if not she doesn't and the fight goes quicker.

I actually did the Chrysler Building gauntlet the first time around, not realizing how strong I'd be coming out. Unfortunately made the rest of the game a cake-walk. But still excellent.

Thanks for posting! I'm trying to beat the first "last" boss now. Parasite Eve is pretty good, but I don't have the patience to slog through the entire game a second time + the Chrysler Building.

Sin duda en el parasite eve 2 se pierde la esencia de un juego de rol rol, que es que mas bien parece un resident evil con toques de rol.
Tengo el juego este bajado espero jugarlo pronto, buen video xd.

opino lo mismo, el PE 2 pierde mucho la escencia de de un RPG,ya no se basa en niveles ni que te haces mas poderoso en todos los aspectos,solo consigues mejores armas y tienes mas poderes mitocondriacos (me agrada decir que son magia xD) pero aun asi PE 2 sigue siendo uno de los mejores juegos, especialmente por los Golems...
