Why the Steinway? I thought the Ivory Steinway was not as good as the bossendorfer - particularly up high and down low - it sounded artificial. I also preferred the Fazioli (Italian Grand expansion).
Interested to hear your thoughts, and what settings (key noise etc) are being used in this video. Bosendorfer with keynoise @~5db is what I usually default to.
@ltbmuse thanks for you answer :D, and now i have other question
How is the quality of the CME keyboards (CME uf80)?? I ask because i have a M-audio Keystation 88-es and after of 2 years I had problems with the keys :/ dynamic problems
I hope that someone can answer because I thought buy it.
clor0oo - I heard mixed reviews of CME - some are good - but if they go wrong then support seems bad. You could try a keystation pro 88 or a studiologic VMK-188 Plus - or one of the smaller variations (76,61 or 49 keys).
son malos, yo tuve uno... se ven buenos pero en verdad, si lo q quieres es tocar piano... no es el controlador indicado... para componer y esas cosas si sirve... yo tuve el VX8...
@truthinmedia This sample can be modified and tweaked to no end! again its computer world. it opens many options up for you. He may have the (virtual) lid in the full "up" position. And he may have an eq on it. You shouldn't judge the sample by only what you hear. Remember its not just push piano and presto to those of us who know exactly what we are listening for. You will have to tweak it a lil to get exactly wat you want from it. But thats the beauty of being able 2 control such things.
I've just watched Pianistitaliano on QL then this. It's amazing how the different characters change the pieces. Tempting to buy them, I haven't used software pianos before.
Merci.

At the risk of monopolising the comments on this I just wanted to say that you playing this is one of my favourite pieces of music of all time.

this piano is too bright compared to real concert grand D. it is good for jazz variations but not for classical expression

This is new MIDI-keyboard Studiologic NUMA. And performer uses VSTi Synthogy Ivory Grand Pianos (in this case Steinway sample).
