No, that won't be the case. Remember, these are muskets. They can only fire near the front and then they have to return to close combat because the guns are so primitive. It will be nearly the same as the original total war games.

i hope thay do a 1830-1930 cuz ww1 was the last war were we used large formations and cavelry + sea battles would be so much sweater with iron clad ships and the invention of plains in 1890 would be so freakin kewl :D and mybe have the entired map open for conquest!

at least up until 1900, because that would include wars in the era of the Spanish American War, which they actually still used very large formations and calvary that is traditional to TW games.

yea, but they would prbly go the route most RTS games go and just let you call in airstrikes, which would still be cool.

i think if they made the bieplane fighting similer to ship fights were your at the mercy of the wind and you have to aline your guys just right to get a good hit it would just be really kewl :)

i don't think they would make a game from wwII, because the whole setup of the total war games is not suitable for the modern era. i hope they make a sort of shogun 2, but then with china.

yea, i hope they make one up until the invention of tanks and machine guns. So they have one for like the war of 1812(might be in empire total war) and Spanish american war. And maybe just one that is like Empire total war but the entire world map is open for conquest, that would be awsome.

nah, i really hope they make a RTW2, but since there are some mods trying to make it in its era in M2TW, i dont know if itll happen

yea, the only thing i really wish they would change with RTW is add a hotseat campaign like in M2TW Kingdoms.
