  • Anyone have a Tab?

  • @MrPandaHarassment if your at the stage of being able to play preston reed songs..you should get it by ear my friend..if you were being sarcastic..my apoligies..sarcasm is not well interpeted over youtbe ;)

  • do not be pissing on Preston.. he is awesome.

  • The intro sounds exactly like the solo ending guitar part of Greg Lake's song "The Sage". Can't blame the guy, ELP's leading guitarist really has a beautiful mind.

  • so beautiful

  • Moody Blues, 5th track of their album; Days of future passed.. around 5 mins there is a guitar riff in "The Afternoon: Forever Afternoon (Tuesday?): Time To Get Away" The guitar riff here at the beginning sounds just like it. I'm not saying he's plaigarising, maybe he's just a huge moody blues fan?

    Thought I'd just share that!

  • yeah, false spring when everything around feels unreal and grey even spring when life starts to grow, flowers and birds appear sun begins to shine longer and warmer. And this all means nothing to you. This "false spring" can take years of your life. But one day it comes to an end and"real spring" appears. Always keep that in mind.

  • God I hate the sound of a badly amplified spanish guitar.

  • the begining reminds me of an old song from my country: Redondo Vocabulo, from Jose Afonso

  • This dude is the bomb.

  • @AcousticDreams0

    when it explodes

  • Kinda reminds me of another artist's song, Peter Ciluzzi, can't remember what the name of the song is now. Think I'm gonna go learn this now. So amazing.

  • I really like the melancholic feeling to it

  • This guy used to criticize Leo Kottke onstage back in the early 90's. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you...

  • Nice!!! This guy's great!!!

  • Bravo Mi Gusto todo. I can feel pain in this song.

  • Anybody have tab for this? Know where I can get it?

  • the intro reminds me of I STILL LOVE YOU from KISS

  • Amazing conposition:)

  • very similar to La belle dame sans regret don't you think so? who got inspiration from who?

  • After the first 20 seconds, I was thinking it was a James Bond Theme XD

  • Hahahaha!

  • Me to! Same root notes!

  • Em add9:)

  • beautiful piece.

  • really relaxing listening to this. Makes it sound effortless, how it should be. (Wu wei) or something like that. Anyhow, great stuff. inspiring work. thanks for sharing.

  • sounds just like Dream Theater - Change of Season

  • beautiful song guys like him and michael hedges were such innovators

  • sounds more like changing seasons by dream theater at the start...

  • begining sounds like james bond, ha ha

  • very emotional

  • Does anyone have any tabs for this?

  • I think James Taylor.

  • wow this gut is kickass. reminds me of zelda for some reason.

  • That's one of the first things I thought, too!

    Funny... =D

  • Is this a Pat Methany tune? The opening chord sequence/arpegios sound like vintage King Crimson.........

  • i dont really think so, cause Pat Metheny's songs have a lot of accompanmient...

  • he's so much better when hes not tapping

  • My cousin says that this reminds him of a James Bond sex scene! It does!

  • I second that! It was the first thing that came into my head. I think it's because the opening chord sequence seems to be loosely based around it.

  • Very moving piece. well placed emotion.. but that first string is a little out of tune.

  • IodineElune this piece is in Standard Tuning hope that helps

Try 024000 then 034000 then 044000 then 034000 and the beginning melody works from those chords. Hope that helps

  • Any chance you've got tab for this? Perhaps you know the rest of the tune. Would you be willing to share the rest?

  • Great song, very touching.

  • I would love more of this Preston! This piece is warm and comforting. Altered tuning?

    very nice ****

  • Too much talent. Get a producer if you don't have one already. You'll have an easy entry for ad agencies for creating jingles too.

  • Well intentioned comment I guess but hey, do some research on Preston Reed, he's been a top player for over 15 years now. He has influenced guitarrists all over the world with some techniques that are "patented" by him.

  • el sensitivo, love that guitar haha. preston come back to waterford ireland
