The Japanese version is the original, they dubbed the action scenes from Dekaranger for Power rangers SPD

The Japanese is the original - I think they nick whatever footage they can (Zord fights, morphing, close-ups of rangers etc.), then film the scenes unique to the american version, like the villains (they make new ones) among other things -

Like "Doggy" Kruger for instance :P

I also kinda think intresting that Power Rangers came form Japan and looks good in America, not everything in America is ruined but, Disney did ruin the series but, let see with Saban back in control of the series.

Well to clear more up

There is a different between the versions

The power rangers licsensed by Saban had almost 100% different story with stuff from the sentai version.

However today power rangers seems to be 95% copy from the japanese story version as they probally can't make their own story.

Give Saban back!
