how was he not entertaining?!! He had to sing the emotional part with appropriate subdued emotions, but then pumped it up from 4:00 onwards.. listen to that part. aaaand he managed to bond with the audience too. mind you, this is at the end of the night and he's prob a little exhausted from all the singing yet he STILL manages to rock it at the end. how much more do you want?

thats funny, cuz shahrukh compliments sonu nigam A LOT.. and attributes much of his success to the songs sonu sings for him. It's cuz sonu's voice has this very vulnerable quality which intensifies the emotional scenes very well. notice the sad segments of 'kabhi khushi kabhi gham' or 'kal ho na ho' or 'do pal' (from veer zara) that are sung by sonu nigam. while I love udit's voice for happy srk songs like 'yeh ladki hai allah' only sonu can drench the lyrics of sad songs in so much emotion
