ratm fuckin suck, cmon metal rap? anti establishment (and frankly crap) lyrics whilst on a major label that simon cowell owns. fucking shit, although their cover of this track rocks.
Geez do you lot know anything about music -afrika bambaataa is the pioneer of hip hop and to say that RATM version is better is utter lunacy.....this guy is a genius...FACT !!
I can appreciate that these guys did this song first, but i prefer the RATM version. That's just a personal view though, probably influenced by my love for rock over rap. This just sounds like sitcom intro music to me.
they just don't make them like this..... shame! i know music has to move on but it's still a shame.... could someone please send me perfect bet thanks....
If Rage were in the 80s the would have changed shit then. Your argument is pointless. Its just a matter of opinion if someone prefers the Rage version to this.
soul sonic force and afrika had the brains to come up with this song...and most people who heard the RATM version probably don't know this version exist.if RATM did this in the 80s,then it wouldnt be known by many people..
RATM's version was a lot better produced, afrika came up with the words, but RATM and Rick Rubin's version has its own orignal music. Which is better than this pile, lol
what are you trying to prove, the guy just said he likes the rage version better you just keep repeating that this is rom the 80s like its gunna change his opinion the decade's irrelevant to the guys preferance of this song, david bowie wrote man who sold the world in 1970 and i prefer the nirvana version from 93, i still love all bowies music especially the old stuff, and there was no new technology involved in their version, it was acoustic.
i would like the guys who first wrote the song first to get some credits..how would you feel if someone re-wrote your song and their version is more popular...people will think they made it and somehow you would feel *let down* and forgotton..
I'm pretty sure all the songs on that album are covers, no orginal songs at all, they did alter them quite a bit tho, as u can tell if u hear their version of this song! Amazing album. x
