Jimmer can shoot obviously very well, but he can also attack the basket. He has size, 6'2", and hes stocky. He scored lots of points from simply going to the rim and making awkward shots that are odd to guard.

laste year and before that hated college ball loved NBA...everything somehow changed this year and now i love watching college way more...NBA is so slow and boring and doesnt even look fun to play there...its sad that college only last 4 years for athletics
These two teams could play each other 20 times and BYU would be lucky to win 5 times as UNM is far too athletic across the front line and BYU is slow and unathletic with only one scorer. They will lose by 20 to San Diego St in the MWC finals and they're definitely out in the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney if they are lucky enough to get past Wofford first.

Don't be fooled, however, by the coach's decision to protect him on the defensive side. He'll concentrate more on that side in the NBA. He's a great college player though. After seeing it everybody felt honored pretty much. You rarely see one person single handedly light a team up like this. @Mixamaka I was at the game. I'm a UNLV fan, we played after. You wouldn't want to watch this game you say?? It was hands down the greatest game ncaa, or pro I have ever seen. After seeing it everybody felt honored pretty much. You rarely see one person single handedly light a team up like this. I would watch this game 10 times out of 10 of a team drawing up plays to get jody meeks a wide open mid ranger, or lay in. I don't think jimmer had one open shot.

Lets talk about the man Fredette. 52 points. Do you think New Mexico was clear on who they had to stop to win this game? Do you think they discussed how they were gonna contain Fredette and had specific defense keys and assignments / You Bet.
Dude is a Freaky scorer. Not just a shooter but a relentless attack the basket player with the same tenacity (although a different skill set) as Bernard King. cant wait to see him in the NBA. Thanks for posting.

That was heartbreaking to see #5 get injured in the 2nd half - What a hard way to end his college basketball career. Unreal performance by both teams though (or should I say New Mexico and Jimmer?). Great game!
