  • Dali was like a range rover designer/machinist selling at mcdonalds. kinda like vinnie colauita. excellent but overtly purile and commercial. now its okay. cause i had 40 years to get over the overkill.

  • Makes no difference...............All of the artists of their era were the greatest to come down the pike. They all contributed and influenced many aspiring painters, one way or the other. I liked Dali when I was in school mainly because of his outragous behavior and Surrealist images. Picasso had a great way with color and forms. Tanguy, magnificent, Modigliani, fantastic, I never criticize as I am only an amoeba on the artistc plateau compaired to these masters.

  • "Catalan painters like picasso..." Get outta here, Picasso was andalucian not catalan!!

  • I think I am a natural cubist

  • RESPECTS

  • Q se joda lo real! Nada como lo Surreal!!

  • joder no concuerda nada lo que dicen n castellano con los subtitulos, solo salen chorradas!

  • grande dali un genio :)

  • what an ass..lol

  • Dali's father looks like my father....this is disturbing.

  • Juan Miro was Catalan but Pablo Picaso was not .

Picaso was born in Malaga | Andalusia |.

  • Great artist...

    My favorite:

    -Caravaggio

    -Dali

    -Leonardo

  • @viesturstube Haha

  • bunuel, lorca y dali? amazing

  • Do you want a fact? Well, you know nothing about Dalí...

  • you cant say your opinion is a fact! look up fact in the dictionary.....

  • Picasso and Dali aren't comparable. They have nothing in common. To unilaterally declare that they are comparable is foolish and pretty arrogant.

  • @chandru1103 To say that they have nothing in common is equally as arrogant.

  • @flemwad18 While cubism was an early influence for Dali, And I have seen his cubist pictures firsthand, he quickly ditched that concept for more symbolic abstraction, instead of a formalistic one. While Picasso in spired many, Velasquez and the Dadaists were a much more poignant influence. Arrogant? Nah. Blunt? Yes.

  • @flemwad18 I think you both mean ignorant, but I see where you're both coming from.

  • @chandru1103 Just because you had a Dali’s greatest hits picture book in your college dorm does not a modern art expert make, and the fact that 18 people agree is really quit sad. You don’t have to like Picasso or his work, but to deny his influence on Dali, throughout his life, is well foolish and pretty arrogant.

  • Picasso influenced every artist living today, that doesn't mean the works are comparable. No single artists work is "comparable" to another...they are individual visions and may sit somewhere within art history with close ties, but making a venn diagram and comparing artists is foolish.

  • @chandru1103 and you think you are smarter and humble?

  • Does anyone know if this is for sale on DVD?
