So this video is useless folks? I understand what he demonstrating perfectly by watching. Don't you know where these things are built?
Ebonius...retarded. Yes subtitles would be nice but heck...I think we all get the point of what he is describing. The entire world doesn't have to speak English to be useful.
If you look on the front of the frame up by your fork it will say made in Taiwan, not America. they're marketed mainly in America but they're built in Taiwan.
I own a GT I-Drive and think it's great, especially if you weigh over 200 lbs. and put a lot of stress on your suspension off road. But this video is useless. Not only is it in Japanese, but the sound levels are pegging the meter off the high end. Why bother even putting this up?
I think iDrive was a hybrid between the Unified Rear Triangle and the 4-Link design; so you start w/a URT, but add the "Dog Bone" and the bottom bracket to create a 4-Link. The end result was that the length of the chain doesn't really grow- the URT part- but the bottom bracket also moves very little relative to the rider- done by the pivoting action of the BB- just like other types of suspensions. Of course, there was a little movement here and there, so it was a compromise.
Erm what was that???
