I have to admit, I'm not fond of the character designs.

With that said, you have to give props where they're due. They did it all without a word spoken, and they superbly conveyed the story, all done by amateur artists. So, big kudos, and 5 stars.

hinunia, its not just a wood shield, its a buckler, most bucklers were made of ironwood back then, it littereally is as strong as metal, and like SpArTaN2567 said, there probably isnt enough heat for it to ignite, and the fire would have to be on it f or a while.
