That way you'll spread the wrong answer out over 3 choices instead of 2. There are people who actually know the right one...and they'd likely stand out more significantly had those who didn't know it guessed whatever.
Then you eliminate the 2 wrong answers. I guarantee you'd have gotten a larger increase of "Peru" because people who actually knew it, guessed it.
@mguy091 , I agree but u forgot the last step. and to make sure your friend used the Google to confirm and the noise of the keyboard is pretty obvious
I think the million dollar questions are the simplest of all in one sole, lone topic. It's very specific, allowing for someone to say "I KNEW THAT." And also, I don't think it's easy to remember something under pressure for a million dollars. xD
I miss Regis, biggest mistake getting that other woman. I mean "I finally lost my millionaire virginity"???? wtf is that? this show was at the tip top but hit rock bottom once she got on
Thank you for catching me up on all of the top winners for this show. I have missed all of them except the guy who won one million on Super Millionaire back in 2004. Has anybody won the top prize in the 2011 version of the show?
@HeadsUpSnGGuY Of course he's excluded because he was part of the UK version of "Millionaire." Even if I did a montage of the UK version of the show (which is a good idea) I would exclude him lol.
@coleyd Haha yeah I made the comment when I was like 10 minutes into the video I finally picked up on the fact that these were all US winners later :)
My Favorite win was the one where the guy knew he was gonna win and he used his Phone-A-Friend just to tell his friend he was gonna win! That was Pretty cool! Where is That on The Video?
Ironically, before Dan Blonski was even on the show, Regis would often say you would lose $93 thousand if you missed the question, I thought that number sounded familiar. When I heard 93 million miles watching that night, I realized why. It's ironic.
The Lesotho question was ridiculously easy. Every douche knows Mongolia borders to Russia and China, Luxembourg borders to Germany, France and Belgium, Burkina Faso: All I know is that it's in the northern area of Africa where you got no states containing each other. Lesotho is contained in South Africa which I had also known if they had listed a hundred other countries. This could have been a 500 Dollar question as far as I am concerned.
@MoralityIsAReligion: I agree with you in that Mongolia and Luxembourg were easy to eliminate, but I'm sorry, not EVERYONE knows African geography that thoroughly. I'm sure a lot of people have looked at a map and remembered there was a country inside South Africa, but not everyone knows what it's called.
Burkina Faso was also easy to terminate because it's partially in the Sahel zone and no countries contain each other in this region.
In Germany they had a similar question for 64K asking which city is an African capital: Mogadishu, Timbuktu, Casablanca or Kapstatt. I think this is harder and it's only a 64K question. I knew the answer to that too though. Normally I don't know a lot of the answers in this show but when it comes to geography I'm always surprised how little people know.

Goodman could've used his lifelines better.
Poll the audience first and foremost.

@ElementGames His name was Robert Essig (Bob-O.) He was probably not included because he played on a version where the million was not the top prize.
