  • Really lovely video, Music was great too.

  • Celtic Trollers really are annoying.

  • English, come, visit, stay a while but remember, just like Scotland, Wales and Ireland, it isn't England ! It is part of the British Isles but never England.

Kernow yw konna tyr orth penn Breton Veur. Kernow yw bro Geltek ha Kernewek Agan yeth

  • Just played this at my mums funeral in Cornwall this morning. I had managed to deal with things to then but when they played this song Im afraid it really got me. I left it to the people at the crematorium to pick a piece of music for the end and I cannot think of a more beautiful song to finally wish my lovely mum goodbye

  • A Morniing in Cornwall,.... I lay back and close my eyes and let the beautiful music of James Last take me back to the days before foreign holidays.....to the days when our children were young....to a place where twice a year we could escape to the unspoilt wonders of Cornwall's countryside, with the excitement of the old tin mines, the cliffs, rocks, sea and sandy beaches. havenhay

  • Cornwall is fast losing its identity though what with the Government hell bent on building thousands of houses on greenbelt and so many foreigners moving here. We have too many Pakistani shops and too many Poles/Lithuanians.

  • @lizlancaster100

Get a grip you ignorant racist!

  • @girdle67 I'm no racist you thick cunt! I speak for all Cornish people and we all agree. You're the ignorant twat who can't see what's happening to our country! So shut the fuck up and keep your stupid opinions to yourself!! It's still a free country and if I want to say what I observe, idiots like you aren't going stop me. Read my post again, shit features. There is nothing racist in what I wrote. If I was racist I would have written " Paki's, niggers and other foreign scum" THICKO!!

  • @lizlancaster100 Not sure if you're a racist or not, and don't care, but you cannot claim to speak for all of us. Thanks but I'll speak for myself. Some of us like having many cultures down here.

  • @fadmucker08 You aren't Cornish then?

  • @lizlancaster100 How so?

  • @lizlancaster100 What is it about these people that you don't like exactly?

  • @lizlancaster100 Your foul language tells me a lot about you. Please clean up your mouth. oh i direct this to girdllllle67 . lizlancaster100. Sorry for the mix up. . From a proud canadian with cornish routs. r.

  • I live in Cornwall but on the banks of Hudson river. Very pretty too.

  • Cudowny utwór muzyczny, czuję jak odpływam.

  • No tak muzyczka ku wyciszeniu w tym zabieganym czasie jak znalazł. Jak znalazł. Kto to gra? No nie wiem. Jeżeli to kobitka no to wrażliwego serducha to osoba,. Ale jeżeli to facet no właśnie. To w taka rurkę powietrze zapodać to poważna rzecz jest. Pozdrawiam cieplutko jako i ta muzyczka jest taką.

  • I live near Falmouth and from my house I look out over the sea towards Maenporth. I'm so lucky. Listening to this beautiful music makes me so humble.

I could not move away from Cornwall. James Last has done Cornwall proud with this beautiful piece of music. Thank you to swaters for giving us these beautiful images to accompany James Last's beautiful music.

  • I was born here, loved it to death

  • @raver4lyfe16 Grandparents lived on St. Annes Road. My Mothers mother lived on Springfield Road; My GreatGrandMother lived on the hill by Trenance School all in Newquay; My Mother moved to Perranporth some years ago and has been living there since. Miss Cornwall greatly it was a source of pleasant memories for me from when I was a boy. Cornwall is a land enchanted and full of mystery coupled with an intuitive feeling of something very magical like there's something in the air.

  • Please can you tell me where I can buy this piece of music........

  • it is on James Last

    Greatest hits CD,

    Paradiesvogel 2002 polydor gmbh CD,

het beste uit 25 jaar CD

    or some compilaton CD

  • I hope to visit Cornwall later this year (I live in Tasmania) is there a village that is a must see apart from MouseHole?

  • @RonaldsonTippet Yeah..you might want to consider 'Port-Loe'; Polperro is an interesting place; Mevagissey; I get the impression that Port Issac would be a nice place to go visit. Oh yeah and whilst you happen to be there..have a genuine Cornish Pasty and have one of those small round buns with Cornish Clotted Cream smeared all over it with Strawberry Jam this combination is out-of-this-world..Also, have yerself a vanilla Cornish Ice-Cream simply decadent..and delicious too.

  • Oh, I want to go! A beautiful, magical place! How could someone wake up to this incredible place everyday? You must be truly blessed!

  • @estelle715 beautiful YES! Magical YES! Very easy iffen you happen to live there. And as the old saying goes you don't know what you got until it's gone.

  • @estelle715 mhm i live here it just feels fresh =p

  • This is my young sons account. but i just would like to say that this beautiful piece of music was played at my dads funeral. then 10 months later my mum requested it for her funeral, I live in this wonderful county, and when i hear this it brings a happy tear to my eye, thinking of you mum and dad, and the times we had xx Tracey

  • This is a piece of music my dad has chosen for mum's funeral - where can I get a copy of this??

  • Hi swaters. I'm from Germany and I have to say, that I prefer to spend my holidays in Cornwall since 1979. I love this country and its people! My greatest wish is to live there forever. Thank's for theese nice pictures.

  • cornwall but peruvian music, i dont understand... ?

  • love it best place in world

  • I was born in Peru, south america, but I think that in a previous life I was British. I love this country, especially Cornwall. I think there are few places on this planet that are as beautiful as this. I hope go there some day. And the music, absolutely relaxing... thanks swaters.

  • What a lovely heartwarming video, makes me so proud to have been born here in Cornwall we really are lucky to have such a beautiful area, i get emotional because i love it so much, i visited new york city/manhattan usa in 2006 loved it and i was thinking about moving somewhere else but everytime i consider to move i cry and break-down in emotions because i just couldnt bring myself ot leave Cornwall, i love our history of being a former (country) as well with the old language i learn.

  • @ShyGuy19898 Yeah...Quite agree with ya. Why take off chasing rainbows, or chasing wind-mills when you have it all in yer own back-yard Dorothy. Take it from me there is no better place than Cornwall it's a magical land that is old full of mystery, has an old history, and you can breathe it just in the air. Just being there germinates creativity deep within the soul and the imagination. When you have that where else would one want to go...answer NO-WHERE.

  • born in cornwall make me home sick will come back some day now in new york

  • @brenkei Me too except that I am, for-now, stuck in New Jersey

  • Fantastic just love it, and the Morning In Cornwall is so haunting i love it,and being a Cornishman ;)

  • Wonderful....

  • Just beautiful,so grateful that I was born in Cornwall.

    Kernow!Kernow, y keryn Kernow!

  • thank you, a lovely video. i love Cornwall, & want to live there one day. It's been a dream of mine for many years. I used to visit a lot as a child.

  • Absolutely relaxing. Thanks swaters.

  • Ah - the real ENGLISH countryside not like the other video of this whith pics from around the world.

  • The problem being that it's Cornish, rather than English countryside. Unless you're on the wind up, of course.

  • you know , this could be a very relaxing video if you would just shut your pie hole. Nobody likes a know it all..

  • It is an interesting video, with some great images in it. No problem but...

"Nobody likes a know it all."

Better to be an ignoramus then? No thanks. Where are your sources and facts? Or do you prefer shoving things under the rug?

  • At last i found it. Those day i have a CD by James Last (ParadiseVogel). But .... i lost it.

  • Nice scenery and a nice tune by the maestro James Last.

  • Wow, I never thought James Last had such a fan base. I thought only my parents liked him!

  • Halkulalde,, bu müziğe bu görüntüler yakışırdı

    teşekkürler ( thank you )

  • Cornwall is not English. Even in 1546 "Britaine is divided into four parts whereof one is inhabited by Englishemen, the other by Scottes, the third by Wallesmen and the fowerth by CORNISH peoples" - Polydore Vergil - plenty more where that came from. See cornishnotenglish dot com

  • Oh god. The Kernow nuts have found their way onto here as well.

  • No, not quite nuts. Well informed "nuts" perhaps. There are plenty more quotes, laws etc and pieces of history where that came from. It's just that many people don't seem to know how to use a library these days.

  • "Smaller minorities also have equally proud visions of themselves as irreducibly Welsh, Irish, Manx or Cornish. These identities are distinctly NATIONAL in ways which proud people from Yorkshire, much less proud people from Berkshire will NEVER know. Any new constitutional settlement which ignores these factors will be built on uneven ground." The Guardian, editorial, 8th May 1990

  • simply beautiful
