  • What if you want to make combination juices with apple, celery and some greens?

Which juicer do you recommend in that case, John?

  • For that combination I would recommend the Omega 8004 or 8006.

  • can you do the vs between omega vrt 330 and Norwalk Juicer? I just want to know which one get more juice.

  • the norwalk is more efficient than the VRT330. Its also 7x more expensive! You can use the VRT and the Welles Press and you will have better than norwalk quality-- check my other videos on the Welles Press.

  • John, I love your energy! I have the Omega 8005 chrome with the upgraded auger :). Do you have any videos using any of the nozzles? I have no idea what they are for. thx.

  • I do not. I rarely use the nozzles. they are mainly for extruding pasta.

  • Hi John,

I am debating btw these 2 models as well. I do juicing twice daily (combo of tomatoes, apple, and carrot) - one in the morning and one in the evening. My question is if I get the VRT330, can I just run the water in the morning session to clean the juicer without taking everything apart to clean, then at night, after another juicing session, then I can clean all after? Would you recommend that?

  • Yes, you can run water thru the VRT330 without cleaning it. Would I do it? No. The problem if you did that: oxidizing pulp would still sit in there all day and get into your newly made juice, you may get more backup since the pulp will harden blocking the outlet ejection port on the vert, bacteria may multiply during the day and the juicer will get "set in stains" from the carotenoids in what you are juicing from sitting in there all day. I reccomend cleaning the juicer right after each use

  • I've watched many of your shows, I do enjoy watching your shows and I'm interested to make a fruit sorbet. You recommended Omega8004 to make sorbet right? but I saw your show also using Omega VERT330 make sorbet too.... which one is better?

  • I reccomend the Omega 8004 for making sorbet. The Omega VRT330 was not designed to make sorbet, and is not an intended use; as such it will void the warranty if you make sorbet with the VERT.

  • Im interested in buying a juicer and i like the Omega 8400 /8600.

I wonder how well they compare to the Green Power Kempo/Gold/Elite juicers with regards to juice yeild/quality

I saw your comparison for the vert 330 vs the elite

  • The Green Star Elite will produce a higher yield than the 8006/8004, although it is more difficult to clean. There are pros and cons to each juicer.

  • 5 Stars

  • you seriously do have a great job and show. I also enjoy watching your videos...although I already have an Omega 8004..

  • John, Excellent Video. 5 Stars

  • u have the best job in the world! STILL love your shows and I think I have seen all of them. :-)
