It just proves that there are an equal amount of retards who ride bikes and drive cars. I have no problem with cyclists if they obey the road rules. But everyone should have to undergo a road test with me as the instructor and if you fail you should be shot. We are giving retards 2 tonne death machines and because retards conform together, the good drivers and cyclists are usually the ones to be blamed. I usually just walk now and only take my car to track days. Sick of the bullshit.
@louandnan Haha, spot the uneducated oik - cars don't pay road tax, they pay VED (Vehicle Excise Duty) - because a bicycle is zero emmission it means it's EXEMPT. "Road tax" was abolished in 1937. Roads are paid for by COUNCIL TAX, NOT from VED. VED goes into a general taxation pot. I pay council tax therefore I am entitled to use the roads. I also run 3 cars (1 for my wife, 1 for me and 1 very fast 400bhp weekend toy) and 3 motorbikes (2 commuters and another very fast weekend toy) -Owned!
Had almost exactly the same about 20 minutes ago on a v busy 60mph limit roundabout, my one didn't even signal left and I was going straight on. Hit me, I went over bars (at low speed so held it) he buggered off. Luckily there were better drivers than him on the road that allowed me to pick myself up and carry on. Scary stuff tho'.
Unfortunately it won't stop all berks, but maybe you should look at adopting a stronger position towards junctions to reduce them and give you escape room, follow the traffic and not the kerb and be more central (primary).
@HLaB75 I do just that now ! Since looking how most of you fella's do it on youtube ! I even make sure theres no room for cars to pass at these stupid 'Keep Left' bollards / nip points.
Interesting. I think you should report it because the RAC website came up with the same details too (Audi A1 and not Q7).
However the biggest shock is that when you check the DVLA website, it came up... ready... WHITE! Not black, but WHITE.
The private plate could however came from his old car (in this case, A1) and the system has not been updated yet. But if it was me, I would still report it and let the police deal with it.
why you riding near to the side and going slow wtf you call yourself a biker

If not insurance fraud, possible false plates.
Shame your second camera wasn't facing backwards - you might have got an identifiable picture of the driver.
Still worth reporting to the plod though.

@louandnan Owned! Who gives a shit anyway, everybody needs to look out for each other on the roads, especially cyclists.

I have more trouble with BMW's. They seem to think they are above the law.

@bitsurfer0101 I always get road rage from audi's. At least here in santa monica, beamer drivers almost always own a road bike (and ride it).

would be nice if you could just stick your foot out and kick his door while you turn, would be his fault anyways

What a surprise: an Audi driven badly.
However, you should consider taking a primary road position at roundabouts to prevent this type of thing happening.
UKMarx 10 months ago
@UKMarx
You should consider reporting it because the driver is agoing to kill someone.

Ooh, that's a nasty left hook!! This is why I take primary (i.e. just right of centre of lane) on the approach to roundabouts.
CyclingMikey 10 months ago
@CyclingMikey +1 on the primary position. the driver is an idiot but probably not a psychopath, so you're better preventing such a move.
