  • urban ive had mites for years and the smoke s fine and i just spray with water.

it seems to be helping and buds are getting bigger....

  • Einsteins neem oil. Not like any other neem product out there. One of a kind, knocks em' right out with 2 applications and it's 100% organic.

  • So I guess the spray didnt work

  • hey remo what did you use to spray on those babies. azatrol azamax?

  • i used to have a big problem with these little bastards the best thing i ever used is neem oil try in your water mix when you spray works good its a organic pesticide.

  • NEEM OIL is the best...Hard to find but it works awesome and doesn't harm the plant...I fought mites fer years and NEEM OIL IS THE BEST BY FAR

  • Think its more common in Europe, try buying at a European Shop.

  • neem clogs the plants pores right?

  • but that waxy shit clogs all plant pores

doesnt it?also it clogs up the fucking sprayer ..the pump type?what do you use

    during flowering??

  • good thing about neem is its also a natural antiseptic so its steralizes the plants, you cant use anything during flowering if you have mites in flower your pretty much screwed lol

  • A while back i did a organic indoor dirt grow, without pesticides, mold or parasites. Ever since then i have been able to really taste the pesticides and chemicals people use. Since i cant grow my own anymore its been ghetto quality.

  • neem oil and labybugs i use for them dam spidermites.

  • lol thats horrible its sad

  • thats what happens when ur a half ass grower, and let ur pets or go in ur garden after going outside

  • Sensi grow/bloom A/B, Voodoo juice, Big bud, Scorpion juice and in powder i have: Trantula, and i think Piranha a redish/purpleish powder in a bag they are all about 3 years old and were stored in a closed rubermaid bin under other bins in a cool part of the garage could i just replace the sensi zym and all should be good or should i toss some or all and go cheap with foxfarm soil till i can save money for what im missing? Thank you for your time :D

  • Hey urban grower this is off subject but I wanted to know what lights you like to run better 600 or 1000s?

  • He always uses some kind of soap solution ("safer soap" is what I think its called) to kill the mites so I think its safe in the air and its organic. I didnt actually ever hear him say what hes using.

  • Grow the beard big!!! hah

  • What about ladybugs, would they work. I've seen people use them but I don't know if they were for this reason.

  • T_T

  • its not bad to just spray that shit all around in the air like that?

  • sweet baby jesus

  • very informative vid, cheers remo

  • I hope that's organic

  • new look ...grr spider mites....... noo stds for ganja

  • i like the rugged look on you man fits you well....nice vid man like always...take it easy remo ...

  • SPIDER MITES AAAHHH!!!

  • So . . . . .What are you spraying [ you didn't say ] ? And what is it going to be like to smoke ?

Bug spray? Are you kidding ?

  • dude, it's ok they aren't budding yet you ain't gunna smoke none of that shit so long as they are all dead and you don't have to spray again =)

  • Another great video. so crazy that they spin webs like that. good thing it was seen before it was too late. peace

  • DIIEE SPIDER MITES!

    haha

  • wow, look at all those 1k lumateks in the background

  • interesting video dude!!

  • greetings from Holland.....to my favorite grower on youtube...fab

  • lol remo .."DIE!!"

  • Hi Remo was wondering what kind of spray did you use?

  • he is probably using einstein or neem oil. you can make your own using garlic extract, olive oil, and dishwasher detergent....just peruse some forums for the recipe.

if you are serious(remo wasn't wearing a respirator) you can spray with avid or floramite which specifically target SM's and last for 28 days, well past the SM life cycle. the down side to using such serious chemicals besides pesticide dangers is that you can't use them past 2 weeks into flowering due to their long life.

  • Thanks for the info. I had a small infestation a few months back. I just wanted to know for future problems. Thanks again.

  • hey thanks remo!!! how bout that start to finish grow?

  • what can you do to prevent them from comeing in the first place?

  • be careful and very clean when you go into your room. stay away from outdoor gardens if possible, especially in the fall when temps start to drop and the mites are looking for something warm to jump on-like you.

take a few hoursoff when you come inside or work before you go outside, never wear the same outdoor shoes or clothes in your room, etc.

  • mites are hard to kill if you dont catch them early. This guys is going to have a very rough time i think. thats was quite the bad infestation. my last grow had a small infestation, i sprayed with 2 kinds of spray, 3 days apart, and they never came back and th plant is beaitful. its all in the follow up sprays. and cleaning the plant.

  • a friend of mine has 300 plants near harvest seathing with red spider mites he tryed to spray them, burned them all...now is leaving them ...im sure it will effect the tast and strength of the harvest or willl it not?

  • yeah they will keep thc from fully developing

  • would not surprise me...

  • it's gonna kill yield but potency should still be kinda up there.

  • varry helpfull Thanks.

  • HAHA thats ill i love how he was saying DIE! while spraying it. and does anyone know the song that was playing?

  • lady bugs

  • good luck, even 2 rounsa of predator mites are no match for a serious infestation

  • sorry to see though...

  • nice info and share...

  • Its best to lightly do the soil surface with neem spray aswell for the strollers

  • I wish he was my dad

  • dude i have some spider mites in my garden but i cant get rid of them i thout i did but must not have and the all in flowering what can i use to kill them and there eggs with out makeing any probs with my buds i dont what to do anything that mite hurt me of my buds i really need help

  • You're nearly doomed.

In bud growing phases, neem will put a bad ass taste in your buds, even the biological approach still smells like football socks with onion ( not exactly, but kinda ).

But what is better ? Smoking buds that kicks but smells hard ( you'll never sold them, or to a cracker-smoker ) or smoke your fingers ?

If it's just commecial, take clone of them, and throw the big plants, put nothing in your room, and clean it up. Redo it from the beginning.

    Mites are hard to kill.

  • @IceFritzLanger or bump your co2 to 5000 for an hour every day for a week and there all gone.

but throwing away your plant works to....

    LOL

  • We'll call this video, "Remo 911", LOL!

  • that cant be good D=

  • Can I ask what is being sprayed exactly?

  • Nice!!!!

  • Another great video from Urbangrower. Thx.

  • remo the bughero P

  • what's the song playing

  • The song is Ganja Babe by Michael Franti

  • predator mites work... =)

  • medicinal agriculture...FRUITS AND VEGETABLES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GOOD FOR US!!

  • i found that rinsing the plant really works if the infestation is really bad. then couple days later when the plant rebounds Ill spray them

  • Keep em healthy Remo!

  • kill those mites......

  • advanced nutrients - wet betty organic

  • i had a bad leaf hopper problem outside , anyone ever have leaf hoppers , they are brown or green wedge shape bugs that jump when you touch them, if you have them insectisidal soap works good and its organic

  • i didnt have them till my caregiver gave me some clones. lol.

  • DIE! FUCKERS DIE!!!!

  • next time have an army of lady bugs, i wonder where you can go to buy a bunch

  • hope that got them all. hate to see the lovely ladys covered in those mites

  • what are you spraying, neem oil, hort oil, insect soap, what do u think of Trounce?

  • what is the song in the background????

  • Michael Franti - Ganja Babe :)

  • man great video but can you still spray them after triggering flowering? after the buds have started to grow? i kinda need to know so any1?

  • most people recomend only up to week 1 or 2 of flowering but if they are still their for some strange reason it wont kill them to continue doing it till like 5 weeks but they need time to break down the cemicals b4 you harvest coz you dont realy want to be smoking that shit

  • fucking mites

    i hate those lil bastards

  • ive fought those fucking mites for over a year, it is hard to fully rid yourself of them. one little egg can spawn a whole new colony.

containing and eradicating them in the veg room is key keeping them out of your garden completely.

  • Hot Shot No-Pest Strips are a great preventive measure-- they can be found just about anywhere. I have never had a problem since I started using them a few years ago.

  • man mites suck, what a lot of unwanted work!!

  • @optikfiber how did you finally get RID of them...? they seem to always find a hiding spot and come back..

  • hey remo ur growing a beard, good on ya, its deffo a better look than just the stash'

  • "DIE!"

    lol

    mites suck.

  • there are some sprays out there that are derived from plants that produce natural repellents. I know there is one made from chrysanthemums, but I don't remember what it's called off the top of my head. We used it in my high school horticulture class when we had a really bad infestation and it seem to work pretty good.

  • Neem oil!

  • you use neem oil to get rid of spider mites, which isn't toxic or harmful to people at all.

  • nah it dont work that good man , i tried that method many times , if anyone has a mites go to garden house and buy AVID

  • ID rather use natural methods, like ladybugs.

  • Neem oil works, you need to mix the neem oil with realy warm water, maybe half gallon w 1oz neem. then mix another 1/2 gallon cold water to solution. spray 3 applications. 1 every 3 days

    bugs gone.

  • i got that same weed leaf cloth/poster thing....the white parts glow in the dark :)

  • hopefully you wont taste that spray when your tokin it

    everyone keep smokin!

  • you dont

  • anything you put on a plant can affect it's taste, to an extend, which sucks, but insects suck the worst.

  • take a look back at tech mikes video on general house cleaning. this room looks like a mess. how do you let the mites even get that bad? hope some remo magic pulls them out. my bet is no.

  • agreed

  • but isnt this a chemical?

im not saying what your doing is wrong but...

when you consume/smoke this... wont there be chemicals?

  • no, u use food safe shit

  • no, neem oil is not harmful to smoke. Also this is early enough that you can spray them with water for four weeks after the mites are gone to rinse the plant. So neem oil ppm will be so low it wont affect the smoke at all.

  • neem oil breaks down to water and CO2

    after about 2 weeks

you dont need to rinse neem oil

Organic means it will break down to non toxic.

  • lol 2:39 DIE lol

  • dam spider mites i hope you kill them all 5/5

  • u spelled damn wrong

  • What spray do you use???? - TheKushNetwork

  • Neem

  • Organicide and Neem

    only

Organicide is the same oil in edible fish oil supplements(cod oil)

you must rinse the fish oil off, to prevent burning

remember spray when lights go off and again before they come on with just water

  • yay
