lilhourigan why are you so bothered about 65W of power? your toaster runs at 1kW+ and your microwave will be 2-3000kW. Have one less cup of tea/coffee a day and you will have saved all the energy the difference in these processors makes for a weeks.

efficient cpu? like--the most powerful processing chip available? why not just use a smartphone if you dont want the cpu mph these processors give you.

yeh lets hope nehalem or the new batch wont be screeching power drainers like the core 2 duos and quads, if Intel doesn't make a low voltage desktop processor under 30 watts tdp, why even bother buying a fkn desktop pc ever again! this is just fucking stupid now. if AMD can make 35w cpus (now scarce) and via can make a 500MHZ chip of 1 WATT that scales to 1.5GHz within a max envelope of 7.5W why cant Intel make an efficient cpu?, its either a fkn plot or Intel staff need better power meters.
