The Kirin Tor is sooo corrupt. A lot of its members have totally betrayed or ruined the name. Kel'Thuzad turned out to be a huge threat to the world, a Lich. Prince Sunstrider too turned out to be a traitor, Medivh let the Orcs into Azeroth, Aegwynn got shunned for disrespecting the Kirin Tor conduct. This organization is horrible!

you can find tirion in the Plague lands with some quests and i n WOTLK you get new quests and on end of the story line you will get to northred with tirion and he will have the ashbringer :) very cool story line and you have to go to the past somehow and soo its really fun i saw some pictures it was cool

Well, while the two swords ARE exact opposites, i wouldn't call them "brother" swords. the Lich King's blade was made by Kil'jaeden, given to Ner'zhul to keep him bound to the Frozen throne, i believe. Ashbringer was made by Mortal hands, most likly involving a peice of the dead naaru D'ore. Since they weren't forged by the same smith, they really have no ties, but i would love to see Arthas with frostmourne going up against the new Leader of the Silver Hand with Ashbringer.

For those interested, this event is viewable in game by anyone by simply visiting the Caverns of Time and entering Old Hillsbrad. Once there, ride to southshore, and all the npcs will be friendly. In the inn in soutshore, you will witness this event take place. While you are there, you can see the earlier members of lore, like kel'thuzad, mograine, and the like.

The original Ashbringer doesn't do that, and also doesn't have -25 stamina anyway, and only has 2 less DPS, is faster, and can "blast" a target for 700 fire dmg very easily. But I'll give you the fact that Corrupt one is a hell alot cooler!

the only reason that people want the original Ashbringer is because you'll most likly KILL yourself if you wield one. The Corrupt Ashbringer has "The Will of the Ashbringer" which does a shit load of damage upon equip, and would most likly die and the sword will unequip itself.

If you have lootlink you can see the stats the sword had on the test servers which is a 88 dps +50 holy damage on swing 700 fire dmg proc and a few other stats however it is ALOT faster than the corrupted version.
