  • "Bush, because of his ineptitude and his always resisting any kind of regulation" Yeah, if only that were the case.

  • He is just a real genius, and this kind of individuals seems to generate lots of jealousy and envy.

  • This kind of individuals? What are you even talking about?

  • IT WAS THHEEEE PROBLEM. what do you do in life? babysitter?no offence to babysitters.

  • why is tha priest even there? I don't understand. the U.S. doesn't really have seperation of church and state.

  • Because this was a dinner for a devout catholic politician.

  • The event was the The Alfred E Smith Charity Dinner. Smith was governor of New York in the early '20s and was the democratic candidate for US President losing to Hoover in '28 and lost the nomination against FDR in '32.

And he was a Catholic and but yh foundation/charity dinner was started by the archbishop later cardinal (thus the "priest" in the video) who started the dinner to teach others about Smith accomplishments/inspire new politicians and the monies go to health causes/charities.

  • @raulBecker

The founding fathers would be angry to see that priest there. I don't understand how so many Americans think U.S.A. was founded on Christian values. Is their history hijacked in the educational systems?

  • "He rambles on like an old man until everyone falls asleep". Bill Maher, you're not a young guy yourself. McCain is less than 20 years older than you. Keep making ageist comments like these, and you'll irritate older voters enough to vote for him. Maher is acting pretty small when he does that.

  • Maher is just a vile hatemonger.
