who are these critics? assholes! its not a bike, or a car, or whatever it is youre into, its an expression of your imagination, the same way a song is an expression of musical talent by a band. would a band keep a great song quiet? should someone keep their bike under a tarp? if you have no imagination or appreciation or at least some sort of criticism to better the culture, then just leave us alone!

bands and artists are special, why not a builder? you obviously enjoy looking at the bikes

Nice cafe racers, tasty video, I have been riding since I was 17 yrs old I am now 53 and still rack up15-20,000 miles a year riding to and from work and when ever I get a day off I ride as well.I do all my own spannering servicing etc. As for revolutionrpm's comments methinks he/she has no soul if he sees motorcycles as just a machine, I feel sorry for you. Me? I love all motorcycles of all types some have character others do not, its in one's blood or it isnt.

A motorcycle is a machine.

It does not make you special.

You are looking to fill a preceived deficiency in yourself if you think that because you build and ride a motorcycle you are special, simply because it is a motorcycle that you "created" and can ride.

I have a motorcycle.

I ride it often.

It is a machine.

Grow up and get real.

I tweaked this machine to be an extension of me.

All you do is "add" or "subtract" parts.

The smart work is already done.

@revolutionpm unless it is in pieces or you put it together or you take it apart and modify anything. first of all what is building a bike to you then? designing the bike? or actually fabricating and making the bike. no bike comes stock as a cafe racer, you have to make it one. also what do you consider construction workers building a house then just idiots putting nails into pieces of wood?

@revolutionpm And usually the design work they've done, isn't very smart at all. Working on cars a lot, I curse and swear all the time at poor f**king design. I spent 2 days just getting a bolt out of a front motorcycle shock today because of poor f**king design. Alot more involved to twisting wrenches than you think. But yeah, if most of us had it our way, we'd build our own bike from the ground up. Cost and time, my friend, cost and time.

I am one of those people who "adds" and "subtracts" parts, I would never say I build bikes, maybe restore and modify them but I don't build bikes.

Unlike most bikers even the ones that don't build their bikes, I have no attitude or rather no attitude problem that I find so many bikers have (and a lot of the caf race people fall in this bracket I'm sorry to say).

Its a machine in the end, but also can be a thing of beauty like anything.
