I am a drummer myself and a vocalist too but its much much harder to keep the beat up while singing so thumbs up for Avril :)

As for the difficulty... come on people, she is not a PRO drummer, she is just doing it for the fans, you can hear their noise, they are having a great time at the concert and thats what maters.

I personally don't listen Avril and nor kind of music but she is cute while doing that simple drum beat and I like this performance.

People hate over the smallest things. So what if she's playing a simple beat. She's just doing something different than what she usually does to mix things up a bit. In my opinion, that makes a concert alot more entertaining to watch otherwise I'd just buy the CD and listen to it. And like many others here said, it is indeed difficult to sing and drum at the same time. She's a very tallented and super hot girl and I admire her for that. Keep on doing what you do Avril!
