I absolutely love this song......reminds me of my childhood, while growing up in L.A.'s Los Feliz area. Such a great "feel good" song that I could listen to over and over again!
Im from Denver and when this album came out my older sister took me down to the record store where EL Chicano showed up to promote this album. I got to meet all the band members and they all autographed my record, Wish I knew where that record was today.
I'm 19 years old...Brown and proud! I didn't grow up during the oldies but goodies era...but i wish i did!!! I can just imagine how smooth and laid back things were back then...I know at times gun shoots broke loose and there were big brawls and people got stabbed and shit waz no joke...But songs like this were dedicated to those special moments of peace and love with ur special loved ones...Good old times back then a young person like me cud only wish 2goback in time and see how it waz! SOUL!
@snix89yt I would like to tell you from someone who grew up in those days, I grew up in ELA, wow man what atime , for every thing, it was laid back, political, music , love, peace, low riders, crusin on Whittier Blvd. YUP, I would go back .....
