I am proud of the Pittsburgh police and I'm glad they beat the hell out of him!
All you arm chair experts from other parts of the country need to go out and experience real life but your probably too afraid to go out because of all the car jackings and police chases in your area due to you handcuffing your own police...
I am not defending the suspect here, but once the 6 people pull him out of the car (1:28) is it necessasary for the officer on the top right to repeatedly strike the victim more that 5 times while they are already lying on top of him, when he is basically restrained? It was probably the dumb cop who flipped his vehicle on a FAILED pit maneuver, which was a terrible attempt might I add.
YEAH but i say why not a REGULAR PIT or a NOrmal box in.. its was messy. u can see it. not 1 car who pits him or 3 who box him in. just say it. its textbook. but its rough.
flyerholland, that was the first cop to actually make a move to try to stop this guy. instead of calling him dumb, give him some credit for trying to end the chase before something worse happened.
yeah ok. but didnt these guys have chase training. do u see how messy it was. cmon thats not good and u know that. he just tried to force the car in the rail wich didnt work en then.. well i dont know what that was. also on the bridge they ram and things.. instead of just boxing him in Textbook. they damage lots of there cars. not needed, i know they can do way better . but maby its because they dont chase that often? no idea
the police need to take into consideration the safety of those around them. they have to stay back so many feet when civilian vehicles are in the area. and i doubt the cops were screwing up on purpose. they had one goal and that was to end it so that everybody was safe and unharmed. the guy from the van is lucky they didn't shoot into the car when he started driving toward the officers standing in front of his vehicle. they did everything by the books.

i would have tossed him off the bridge. He wanted to get away so fine let him go away off the bridge.

Its probably what I would have done if I was the guy getting chased, just not on the solid, but on the liquid.
