@niklasriipinen No, those should be unlocked at the start. Check your quest log, there should have been a pop up.

@carlnardo Frankly I've never heard of this error. Does it still load up on your friends xbox? Maybe its DRM'd.

@KuffoKnight he has the GOTY edition and it worx fine for him. mine came in a platinum hits case that came with bioshock and when i download it, it never seems to give the notification i dont know if its the disc or hard drive thats the problem. Its really wierd

Thanks for this, i just got xbox live and just started downloading the DLC's for it, so i was a little confused on what to get, shivering isles is pricy, but i mught get it. Vile Lair looks appealing and I might get that as im a vampire and the coffin thing looks pretty awesome :D One question, when you get the wizards tower, does it have much 'things' for you to buy to fill your house? ( like furniture and stuff) And do the things cost much?

@GamingNerd117 There is a chance that it can effect it's ability to respawn... usually shadowmere makes his way back to fort faragut, with armor, he'll usually stay where you left him, unless he get's attacked, then it might be harder to find him.

@KuffoKnight lol that never happens to me. without armor,shadow never went to fort faragut. he just went to the nearest horse stable in whatever town i was in. and if i was in the middle of nowhere,he just came up right next to me. and nothings changed with the armor on. shadowmere's always with me.

@Billsthenamefirst Yes, though you can change that with the PC version. Also there's plenty of them out in the wild, so you shouldn't worry to much about running out if you don't have the vile lair.

That's 56 dollars alltogether and it might be cheaper getting Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles on a used standalone disk, and the others later. Ignoring horse armor will save you another 200 points aswell.

@mw01211 fixed, also you can download or buy a version that has some of the DLC and get the rest. They did the DLC pretty well for the game, like there isn't just a giant temple that says "hey, go download the DLC to have access to this temple", but just adds a couple locations, or portals to other locations, at a time.

@mw01211 Only Knights of the Nine, and Shivering Isles come with the Game of the Year editions for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Also, Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles also come on a seperate DLC disk for the Xbox 360. Playstation 3 automatically has Knights of the Nine. There was also a standalone disk with all DLC except shivering isles released for the PC. Lastly, there is a 'deluxe' edition of Oblivion for the PC via Steam, that has all DLC.

@ironcow64 Whether or not your recieve the blessing is based on your fame/infamy skill. If your character has a higher infamy stat than thier fame stat, you will recieve a blessing. An easy way to temporarily effect your infamy stat(outside of attacking/killing NPCs) is to wear the gray cowl of nocturnal, which raises your infamy by 100 points when you wear it. The added bonus is you keep the blessing even after you've removed the cowl (removing the cowl removes the infamy as well).

@thefunnyman32123 I would recomend Wizards tower, since it has both spell and weapon alters and a larger alchemy area than the vile lair. I think that was the question.

@thefunnyman32123 both have thier own questlines, however the fighters strong hold has several secret areas and loot while the thieves den provides more long term rewards, like shops, training, and the additional money from piracy.

@thefunnyman32123, he does not turn you into a vampire (there are many ways of becoming a vampire though). He goes out and "kills people", and then brings you back thier stuff (loot etc). Doing so will give you infamy points though. Using the dark minion will not actually kill any npcs in the world, or affect any quests.

@thefunnyman32123 you can get rid of all your infamy by finishing the Knights of the Nine quest.  Visiting the shrines without Knights of the Nine does not affect infamy though. You can become a vampire by either fighthing vampires (occassionally you will contract a disease from them) and then going to sleep, or through certain NPCs in the game. Being a vampire can be a hassle though, and non-dlc quest for removing vampirism is an even bigger one (though it has an interesting ending).

@thefunnyman32123 its pretty simple got to citadel west gate from go past the stables and head west until you reach a lake with stairs beside it go up them into a cave fight vampires until u get the desiese it should come up on the top left corner of the screen then wait 72 hour then sleep for 1 hour and you should get a message then after three ful days youll become a full vamp
