Very good video that explains how making small loans to people to help then lift themselves up from poverty works. It's not charity. It's a loan and therefore is a sustainable way to end poverty. Not only that it's fun, easy on your budget and easy. I've been a Kiva lender for over a year and am a team captain of a loan team.

It is a Great Charity organization, I have given a few loans so far, all of them were repaid within a few months.
